Great media remote!! Saves me from having to turn on the xbox controller all the time after it times out

Too easy to access things on the Xbox one. I just like how much smaller and compact the controller is

It works perfectly to use with the tv app. It's better to change the channels with media remote than using Xbox controller

The remote has a surprising (but good) weight to it, and the curved back feels good in the hand but doesn't flop around when sitting on a table. The gyro-activated backlight is a pleasant improvement from the Xbox 360 media remote. I do miss the A/B/X/Y buttons at times, but I can live without them.

Used a couple times and so far so good. Works great. One of the must get accessories for the Xbox 1

Pick this up for family not used to game controllers. They are now able to use the xbox one with ease.

So much faster than using your controller and also can be used with your tv. I use mine with xfinity x1

It connected really easily and quickly. Even recognized my TV quickly to control volume and power.

The best thing is that it is backlit, which I think all controls should be. The buttons are very self-explanatory as well

This is a battery saver if you're not gaming. Way better than turning on and off the regular controler

It's a little confusing and un-intuitive to use the standard xbox1 controller to navigate through movie and other median menus, fast forward, pause, etc. Finally Microsoft released a very simple remote for those folks who want to control movies and other media like they have done with other standard DVD/Blu-ray and TV remotes. If you have a xbox1 and you hand the controller to your kid when you want to watch movies through it, then this is for you

Before this came out, I hated watching movies on my Xbox. It is so much easier now. It is small and compact. I love how the lights turn on when you grab it. Just wish it hadn't cost so much. Just because they slap on the Xbox brand, I feel like they doubled the price. That being said, it is a good remote that makes life easier with DVDs.

a little small for my hands(adult) , nice touch on the remote waking up when you touch it, otherwise nothing extraordinary

The first Xbox remote for the 360 was admittedly garbage. This new XB1 remote is great however!!
