This remote works wonders and has a nice and heavy weight to it as well. So much easier then using my controllers to select content and control movies. It even lights up when it senses movement so you can see in the dark. So glad i got this.

I love the X-Box one A/V Integration, and if you have a working Kinect, you really don't need this control... you can also use a game controller to perform the same functions. But if you are like me and got screwed by your X (not Ex) and your Kinect no longer talks to you so you are SOL from using Cortana to control your A/V viewing, and if you don't want to fumble with a game controller to watch the real football game, than go ahead and get this very simple remote and use it to control your X Box One. Only problem is this is NOT Bluetooth, it is ONLY IR so for non-tech's that means if someone or something is in the line of sight to the X-Box it wont work! However, that also means it will work out of the box without paring it to your particular Xbox. So you could take it to a friends house and mess with their Xbox! Have fun!

The One remote is a major improvement on the previous Xbox remotes. It is smaller, simpler, has a good construction, and lights up when you touch it . The only complaint I have is that it is infrared meaning that you have to have line-of-sight with the Xbox one for it to work.

If you want to use your Xbox to navigate through everything before you play a game, or just to sign in for that matter, this is the product for you. It is much better than using your controller, even if it is a wireless one, such as mine. Plus, the price is nominal, compared to other remotes you may be able to use. I love it, and I think anyone would.
