Complements the Xbox one to control cable tv and apps (Netflix). Requires line of sight to console so you will require an IR extender if the Xbox is in a cabinet. Xbox smartglass app has more controls for cable tv and apps and controls the console from any room in the him via wifi.

I got this to take the controller away when I'm not playing a game since it was bulky and had to turn back on when you wanted to use it. This remote I must say is absolutely fantastic, it has a few draw backs like not Bluetooth but ir, and buttons hard to find if you are not looking at the remote. But it is better than the ps3's remote that I have and way better than my tv remote. It's good to if you hooked all your cable boxs and tv since it controls them to.

Really useful especially when I don't want to use up my controller battery life. In case of bingeing on Netflix. Also got nice light up feature whenever you move it or use it. And good rubber grip to it well good clicky response from the buttons.

Finally a remote for my XBox One! It's so much easier to use this than the controller. I really like the design. Its very functional and it looks great!

This has taken the place of my xbox one co trolled for everything except gaming. It has all the functionality in apps you could ever need and you never have to mess with turning on your Xbox controller to use it again when it times out!

For anyone that has connected their television to their Xbox one that is a must buy. It was so annoying to use a controller every time I wanted to watch tv. There are other convenient things the remote allows you to do too. Great item.

I am a big fan of this remote that I use for Blu-Ray / DVDs, Hulu Plus, Xbox Video, etc. You are able to surf with it very easily. I love that the fact lights up gently when being picked-up, making it easy to use while watching a movie in the dark.

This a great little remote for the xbox one with one exception, there's no number pad. So if you use your xbox one for TV pass through then you can easly change channels. I love the fact that whenever the remote is moved the internal LEDs light up.

The remote is nice for normal usage. When in search mode, it is a little hard to spell out words. It is a little slow and hard to push the buttons. Using the game remote is quicker when scrolling and spelling out words.

Great remote as we watch a lot watch tv and movies and very nice light up when move the remote ,save for game controller battery.

This xbox remote is awesome. Makes rewinding, fast forwarding, and watching streaming shows a lot easier. Downside: it isn't just "on". There's a sensor so you basically have to turn it back on or move it around so you can rewind. Not a huge inconvenience but still.. .

works great when all you want to do is put on a movie or watch Netflix. No need to grab your controller and drain those batteries that you need when gaming. Just give this thing a quick flick of the wrist and boom everything you need.

I was using the controller until I was at a friends that had this and it is so much better when using your Xbox One to watch movies. has a battery save feature so the buttons light only when motion is detected by the remote.

Remote feels nice and good quality. Works perfect. I like that the buttons light up when you pick it up but wish they stayed lit a little longer. It could be more flat on the bottom so it would not wobble so easy.

I purchased this and have had it about a month. I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about it. I especially enjoy the fact that it lights up when moved. This feature needs to be on all remotes. Overall EXCELLENT device.

The XBox Blu-ray player controls are weird and you have to use the joy stick to move around the menus. With the remote it makes it easier to pause, play, rewind, etc. without having to scroll through menus. The exception to the rule is when you want to put on subtitles or get to the top menu. The remote is not labeled with anything so you have to test each button to make sure you know which is which. It can turn the system on and off, and it lights up when it is bumped or moved. The last feature makes it easy to find in the dark.
