Makes switching to other content so much easier than using controller. So glad I purchased this.

This little thing is very nice. The buttons light up at the slightest movement, making it great for nighttime. It automatically synced with our TV allowing us to turn the volume up and down without programming anything. My only complaint is I wish it had more buttons to do specific things such as add subtitles.

Controlling XBox via gestures is an exercise in frustration. Get this and get back in control!

I like the ease of using a remote over the controller. I guess if I was a gamer it wouldn't matter. The only issue I have is when we watch prerecorded TV shows, it is hard to fast forward thru the commercials. The older Xbox remote had a button for short burst forward so you could go a little at a time.

The control works fine, but because it's an IR control it needs to have a line of site with the Xbox, not the Kinect. Unfortunately, I keep my Xbox in a cabinet, so in order to use the control, the cabinet door has to be open. I went back to the gaming controller and gave up on this control. I haven't used it since the day I bought it. It doesn't do anything that my gaming controller can't.

As a remote, it works. The quality is nice and much more pleasant to work with over the controller. It is way more friendly for people who do not like using controllers, like my parents. My gripe is that it has almost the same exact functionality as the controller. There is no List or DVR button or any other extras. Not to mention that it communicates via IR. That means you have to point it at your Xbox One, not the Kinect. And the IR that is puts out is super weak, you might as well get up. A much better solution is to load up the Xbox One Smart Glass App on one of your phones or tablets you have around the house. If you set up your Xbox One properly and use the Kinect Smart Glass App it has every feature/button that you could want. I can control my entire setup and not spend money on the remote. 2 stars for the good build quality and feel but lack of buttons.

This remote is great. Feels very nice, isn't too small/large and controls my devices perfectly. My only complaint is that there is no DVR list button, and the arrow keys don't function like the arrow keys on my cable box remote, which would also allow me to get to my DVR list. Hopefully this will be addressed with an update.

I love the remote! Easy to use and works without a lengthy set up. The only down side is that the remote needs direct sight line to the Xbox. So, if the sun is shining on the Xbox, it won't connect, and if you close it in the cabinet, it also doesn't work. Otherwise I'm thrilled with it.

It's a great accessory to have if you're into watching movies. Easy to use and pretty cool.

Super glad I got this. It's really convenient. Always on. Makes watching tv and movies on the xbox a breeze. Am able to use just 1 remote instead of 3 now since it will control my xbox, turn on and off my tv, and receiver and control the volume.

It's convenient, has all the buttons I need, is ready to use whenever, has a quality feel and the buttons are firm and click well. I use it every day and never find myself wanting more from it! I was a little skeptical initially, but now I've had it a few weeks I am 100% satisfied!

This remote is pretty awesome. I used to always use my controller in order to navigate the interfaces of things outside of games, but now I use this remote. It even lights up when you pick it up, allowing you to see what you're doing in the dark without having to turn it on every single time.

Makes life a whole lot easier than using the joystick to watch movies on my XBox One.

I really enjoy using this remote instead of the Xbox One controller to navigate/operate the Xbox One. It streamlines processes with all the functions aside from games. The only negative I have is that it doesn't have numbers for faster channel changing for the cablebox. You have to scroll up and down the guide.

I purchased this remote to use with my Xbox One S 4K Blu-ray player. My wife finds using the Media Remote much more intuitive than the game controller when operating the Blu-ray player. Very nice feel, operation, and the illuminated key pad is very handy.
