The external drive works great for holding my Xbox One games

My wife and I recently got rid of cable and switched to hulu live. Remote works so much better/easier than controller, especially for my wife. Works great on apps like Netflix, YouTube and 4k movies.

Bought this for my new Xbox one (I have the same equivalent remote for my 360 and it worked great, so I figured this would work the same). It does NOT work with my TV, even though the Xbox one says it is linked properly to my TV and my TV is listed in the remote's/Xbox one's list of comparable TVs. I have adjusted all the settings and even talked to the Xbox tech folks and it still will not control anything on the TV. In addition to the issue with the TV, the remote has stopped working for some of the apps (such as Netflix). This could be an app problem, but even then, I am still not overly impressed with the performance of this product. Everything else about it I like. The look and feel of the remote is great, and it feels very well made and I like the backlight. If it actually worked for my TV I would give it a much higher rating.

This remote does the trick if you do not want to use the controller for movies.

This is a fantastic remote for controlling the console and watching Netflix, TV, etc. with. The buttons light up when the remote is picked up, it feels nice in your hand, and is the perfect size to hit all the buttons without having to shift the remote up or down your palm. I recommend it for any Xbox One owner that enjoys watching things on their console, but hates having to turn their controller back on every 15 minutes, or hates how the controller (when still on) is susceptible to having the triggers pressed and fast forwarding or rewinding. Also, there is a dedicated OneGuide button for TV users (it brings up the guide, which I like a lot more than my cable company's guide which is slow and looks ugly).

Sleek and smooth, but sometimes too sensitive. Sometimes, not sensitive enough. It doesn't really replace the controller, it's just another item sitting around, but as for quality, it's fine. We bought two, our family likes them, but you could do without.

Great remote, saves wear and tear on game controller.

I prefer using Microsoft controllers for the Xbox console

This remote is awesome. Makes navigating DVDs and blurays much easier, which is exactly what I was looking for. It looks and feels great in the hand, and automatically turns on when you pick it up. Love it.

I love the Xbox one remote. I use my Xbox one to watch Blu Rays and it was always a hassle using the controller, but now that I have the remote it's a lot easier to control the functions for watching movies.

I really like this remote way more than I thought I would for watching blu rays, Netflix and Hulu. One of the small things is how when you pick it up it lights up so you can see the buttons, love that.

Its a little too little so that makes it easy to get lost. Ok for the price

I bought this along with XBOX One S to watch 4K BD. This is a great tool as it turn on when you touch it and much easier to control video function that game controller. You have to have this.
