It makes the controlling the cable through the Xbox One much more enjoyable. It's intuitive because it's just the a regular remote you would use. It would be better if it had a DVR menu button.

This remote is a nice addition to the xbox for using as a tuner.

The remote does an excellent job for what it is intended for, but lacks in comparison to the Playstation remote when it comes to options and navigating. You also have to point the remote directly at the Xbox for it to work.

This makes using apps and menus easier without having to turning on a controller. It's not quite perfect though because sometimes you have to hit the button twice to get it to do what you want it to. Sill worth it though

Most of the controller functionality is there and even adds a button to go straight to TV. Has a nice soft plastic feel to it and all the buttons light up when it senses it's being moved. It's not perfect though, as you can see there's no number pad so if you want to get the a specific channel using this remote you'll have to scroll the Xbox's TV guide until you reach it. The bottom of the remote isn't flat so you'll have a hard time hitting a button with it resting on a table. There's also no shortcut buttons for stuff like subtitles, audio, etc, you have to go movie's menu and change it there. But even with those minor faults if you're going to do anything other then gaming on your console this will make it a much more pleasing experience.

Got tired of using the controller which could be difficult at times to use for watching a blu-ray disc. Picked up the media remote and it's a whole lot easier to use the functions now with the remote.

I thought it would be the same as the 360 remote. But no. Don't have the gaming buttons and don't have input or source button to change the imput fox the Xbox to show on the tv screen. Unless I can't figure it out. I like the 360 better. But can't use that on the Xbox one console.

My fiancé and family love this! Especially since they are not as familiar with using the actual controller to navigate through the menus. This really helps. Quick and easy to set up

There were 2 versions of this remote and I love this model. It is convenient and easier to use than the Xbox controller. Has all the functions that a traditional remote would have

If you don't have the kinect, this is a nice little accessory to have. I find the small remote is more comfortable to use then the actual game controller when using many of the xbox one features.

This remote is great to have for the TV as well as controlling media from the Xbox. Very solid and heavy duty. Did not work with RokuTV, but Samsung works great. Highly recommend.

Works better than I expected, especially for the price... It has a very nice ergonomic/material feel. I've owned mine for 5+ months and I'm still on the same batteries, 2 AAA Energizer.

Just bought this little guy to go with my new Xbox one s and it works great. I love that the remote lights up when you move it around. Makes it easier to see what you're pressing.

This is a very good substitute for the gaming controller especially when you just watching TV, and movies. It lights up in the dark when you pick it up or just touch it, only thing lacking is an eject button.

This remote is perfect when watching TV through your Xbox one. This way you don't have to turn your controller back on each time you want to change the channel, adjust volume etc.

This remote is just what I needed. It's much nicer for navigating Netflix than getting out the game controller. Plus the motion - activated lit up buttons are super handy as well.

I got this remote for my XB1 because the controller would always turn itself off and i didn't like the one on the mobile app. It's bigger than you'd think. And the bottom is pretty round. But works very well.

I bought this product so I didn't always have to have a normal controller near by. It accomplishes that goal, but isn't really a "necessity". I love the auto back light on it and works great for Netflix and vudu type apps.

This remote, while not as full-featured and the XBox 360 multimedia remote, does what it should. The automatic backlight when picked up is a great feature for nighttime viewing.
