Great buy to add to your XBox

Since I not only use my XBox for games but to stream shows and media on Netflix and Hulu, this remote is the perfect purchase so I don't have to use the game controller as a remote control. This remote makes navigation easy and less problematic than with the game controller.

Remote is great, but Kinect needed an IR receiver

You cant point at the Kinect Other than that, it would have been great if it used the same technology as the xbox game controllers (WiFi Direct?), instead of old IR. Other than that, the remote feels great, and works great. I do not regret purchasing it, just sometimes have to stretch my arms out to make sure I point it at the xbox one console.
