I got this for my mother. I have the Xbox One set up as her media device and she had all sorts of trouble using the controller. This media remote works very well in allowing her to navigate easily so she can watch TV, Hulu or Netflix without all the "How do I?" phone calls I used to get.

This remote is awesome! I didn't want to keep using my controller to navigate NETFLIX, Movies, or YouTube anymore. This works great and uses little power unlike a controller. The LED lights light up when ever you pick up the remote. It has a nice matte black finish. Great buy!

Simplifies the use of the xboxOne and very user friendly.

The remote works perfectly and is instantly on and ready to go. I button light up when you pick it up and turn off when you leave it alone. No more yelling at the Xbox One to pause or trying to pick up and turn on a controller to pause while your cell phone rings and goes to voicemail. Only negative is the weird texture on the remote...

The feel and sensor lights are nice features on this remote. This controller is great if you don't want to use the controller to navigate your Xbox for movies or media. Perfect if you have kids if you rather have them handle the remote than wearing down there controller.

I purchased the PDP version and returned it. I own 3 of these though at this point and for the price they are a no brainer purchase. Works great. Now unless I'm playing a game I don't have to drain my gaming controller batteries just to watch TV or scan videos.

Works great for theblu ray player. How ever it does not work with the netflix app

I bought this and the Insignia one with a keyboard. This is the one I kept. It has a nice soft touch and lights up with a pleasant white glow when you pick it up. Buttons are easy to see and placement is great! Got this for my Xbox One S so I can watch 4K movies!

This remote is definitely better than using a controller to watch a movie, but the buttons on the remote to show other controls or to get to other areas of a movie aren't obvious. I wish this was like the PS3/4 remote and easier to use.

This is a pretty excellent remote for the price. I purchased this because my wife and I frequently watch Netflix on my Xbox one and it was annoying having to turn on the controller anytime we needed to pause or change episodes. Works great, highly recommend.

My husband and I often lie in bed and watch netfli before going to sleep. We use the Xbox one to do this and I always hated using the bulky controller . Plus he would fidgit with it and regularly screw up the show. Thus remote makes watching Netflix much easier!

This remote makes it a lot easier to control your Xbox one when doing something other than playing games. Has backlit buttons so you can find it in the dark, but if you move it all the time you'll go through batteries faster, so if you're not using it, put it somewhere it won't get bumped.

The remote features motion-activated lighting and function keys to control the most commonly-accessed features. For some apps like netflix, it makes a few things more cumbersome, but generally speaking I feel like I'm watching a media center instead of playing a console. Good product.

The Xbox media remote lacks a lot of buttons that should be standard a button for going back to the home screen or closing out the OneGuide and going back to what your watching. Also, there is considerable delay when the device starts.

It workes fine when close up. Disappointed that it is not Bluetooth.

This controller works great with my xBox One. I can use to browse menus and it is the perfect accessory for people using Netflix and other video apps on a regular basis. The backlit keys make it super easy to use in the dark, which is something I look for.

I used my xbox controller to navigate through media files when using the media player app. This media remote control is excellent when using the media player. The lighted controls makes it perfect in a partially lighted room.
