As a remote it works great. Is very simple but miss numbers for direct channel change. Also unable to access key features of my cable dvr like record or list recorded shows. The media controller for Xbox 360 was much better. The xbox one smartglass has full functionality over my DVR .

the remote works ok, it has to be pointed directly at the Xbox at all times in order to be working period it would be better if it worked like all of the other remotes so you don't have to move in order to change something.

I got Sling TV and was going to be using the app from my xbox one. This is just what I needed to navigate menus without wasting controller battery. For whatever reason, my volume buttons are not working, so I am forced to use the TV remote and xbox remote.

I love this remote! I bought an off brand one thinking this one was too expencive. Well i was wrong. My off brand one stopped working after 4 or 5 months. I got fed up with it and bought this one and will never go back.

Having a remote for my Xbox One definitely adds convenience so I don't have to use my controller while watching movies. Another nice feature is that the buttons light up when you pick it up automatically. Well worth the $25 paid for it.

This remote is much easier to use for browsing the media aspect of my xbox. The only downfall I've found is that it's a line-of-sight connection rather than like the Xbox controllers. I have to point it directly at the Xbox for it to work.

A must have accessory for anyone using their Xbox for an all around game and media console for the living room. Way more convenient than having to use the Xbox control when watching movies/videos, highly recommended!

This remote was an excellent addition to my Xbox One S. It makes navigating much easier than using a controller especially when using an app or watching DVD's.

Allows easy, one handed, backlit remote control of your TV, xbox and receiver. It works the first time and every time. The ONLY drawback is that it is nearly completely black and hard to see in dim light. First world problems.

We ditched a stand alone Blu-Ray / DVD player and have been using the Xbox One for a while as its replacement. My fiance doesn't like using the standard controller to control movies so we opted for this and it has been exactly what we needed.

The remote works really well and is essential for Netflix or DVD control. The buttons light up but go to sleep after a period of not sensing movement. However, the case is very slick and tends to want to squirm around in your hand while navigating the buttons.

Bought is for the benefit of the non-players at home and it works great. My wife is able to watch Netflix, Hulu or Crackle through Xbox without having to mess with the controller, which kind off requires you to use both hands.

This should have been included. As a DVD player, this is almost a necessity and much easier than trying to manipulate the controls with the "controller". The automatic back-lighting is fantastic and the remote as a whole has a good feel

This is a pretty good remote, the only drawback is the fact that it's all black and it blends in with the couch or anything else. Doesn't help that it's small. Also it must be pointed DIRECTLY at the console to work so no pointing it to kinect.

This control is great for watching and navigating movie menus. Its also motion activated so if you pick it up in a dark room the controls are illuminated. I only wish that it had AXBY buttons as navigating Xbox Live often requires you to push the X button.

This remote is really worth the purchase. It works right out of the box and I was even surprised to find that it also worked on my television without having to set it up. It has a great feel to it, and so far I can't find a negative thing to say out it.

Saves a lot of time and room instead of having to use two different systems a DVD player and the Xbox One. Using the remote through the Xbox One works just as well as those high-priced DVD players.

The main value here is that you don't have to turn a controller on and wait for it to connect. It's just "on" and works like a regular remote. If you use your xbox for streaming apps it's a must.

This is probably one of my favorite Xbox accessories I've purchased. It saves so much time charging controllers that have died watching movies, and makes searching and watching Netflix a breeze.

Bought this for my wife who doesn't play Xbox one. It allows her to maneuver around the screens without having to use the game controller. Wouldn't have bought if nobody else was during the console.
