This universal remote does what you'd expect it to do: control your TV, Xbox, DVR, etc. I have no complaints. I have noticed that you need to "aim" the remote at the Xbox for it to work.

remotes a remote in most cases. this one lights up when you move or pick it up. it is a little odd that I have to point the side of it at my sound bar to adjust the volume, hince the four star.

If you use you Xbox One for more than a gaming machine you need this item. Unlike the Xbox controller this controller turns on just by picking it up so no waiting for restart time.

I was a little disappointed with this remote as it doesn't function in all apps on the Xbox One, but overall was pleased with the sleek design

The media remote works great. It allows me to control all of the media apps on the Xbox One. It also has a great feature where it lights up when motion is detected.

This remote is very small in size for someone with larger hands, but it beats the alternative of having to control blue-ray movies, music and other media using the onscreen control panel with the XBOX One.

Works as advertised - and I know most people like smaller things but for something like a remote it's Nice to be able to find it easy when it's buried on the couch. Also wish it lit up

Works just fine. Buttons are pretty stupid though. Would be nice if they were labeled or more conventional. Looks like hieroglyphics to describe functions.

This is a great alternative for the controller if you just want to watch 4K movies or Netflix. It is worth the money if you can't remember what button does what on the game controller.

Compact and good looking remote. Is a great alternative to using the controller. My wife uses the Xbox one for Netflix. The remote comes on handy for extended Netflix watching

I bought this for my girlfriend, so she didn't get mad trying to play blurays and watch Netflix with the normal controller. She loves how easy it is to use.

Microsoft added this for convenience, I like its quality and response upon navigating this nice remote control. If you have an Xbox its would be a good add on.

Remote works great. Because the Xbox has the capability of managing all of your devices, this remote is a program-free universal remote. Wish it had numbers on it to control cable TV a little better.

The remote is good if your solely looking to control your Xbox, but if you want to control your tv and cable box with one remote... may not be for you.

When I bought the remote, I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it but figured why not? Well I use it constantly! It even controls the volume on my sound bar.

Straight to the point and nothing special. I do like the white light behind the buttons. If i was Microsoft I would have made the backlight green.

Great product, very slick, it would auto light up the keys at the touch of the remote or the simple contact. didn't even need to pair with my xbox.

This remote lights up when it is picked up like a Xfinity remote. The remote is better to use than a controller for dvd, blu ray, or cd playback.

I'm glad I got the remote. I hate using the controller when I watch movies. Too much of a hassle to keep turning it on so I bought this. Comes in great handy.
