Good, functional remote...could use better on/off functionality

Dropped it so many times and it still seems to work.

I definitely like this remote to watch Netflix and Blu Ray discs on the XBOX One, rather than using the game controller. The only thing I don't like about it is that it some of the buttons are not labeled and it's not clear what their functions are. Overall, it is worth the investment.

Works great, looks cool, just wish it had numbers.

Trying to use the controller to watch a movie is a nuisance. The only flaw with the console is when ever you push a button on the remote the on screen menu for use with the controller pops up. Have fun skipping to where you fell asleep.

This remote has a very basic design; too basic. The remote for the 360 was far more useful, and I am disappointed that Microsoft decided to make the newer device more limited than the old. It lacks A,B,X,Y buttons, which can make navigating certain menus on the XBox One system awkward. It also lacks a DVD menu button, which is simply bizarre. Simply put, Microsoft, if it is your intention to make the XBox One system a viable stand-in for a normal bluray disc player, then you need to create a remote with capabilities to match. *Note that I would recommend this to a friend only for as long as it remains the only option for a XBox One remote.

This remote is pretty cool.... but should of had the colored buttons. Hulu requires you to hit the blue x button for details and you can't on the remote. They really should of put those on there!

Love that it's motion sensitive, but it has to be directly pointed at console to register commands. It doesn't always read everything. Other than that, it's great! It's way better than the 360 remote.

The remote really fails to accommodate normal TV watchers. It has buttons that you would expect for a basic TV experience, but is impractical to use with a DVR or any of the new tv boxes.

I liked the design, especially its size and how it feels in your hand. But realized I didn't really need it because I've gotten used to using voice commands to control my Xbone. So I returned it.

Even though it does make viewing BluRays on the Xbox One a lot easier, the controller is missing some key features, like a subtitle button, eject, and a normal on/off button.

Works very well to control all xbox related features but changing the volume on the TV with this remote is a test in patience and accuracy.

This little remote is handy when using with the TV app and various other media apps but falls short in the YouTube app. Apparently Google is to blame for this but it still dampens the overall value. The only other little nuisance is the fact that this remote needs line of sight with xbox and not the kinect. I am used to the ps3 media remote that is Bluetooth and has lasted over 2.5 years on the same batteries. The smart glass app can do all this remote can and more for free.

This remote offs really cool butt it only works when the Xbox is on. If you don't want your 1000 dollar investment to remain on all day it's not great

This would be 4 or 5 stars had it worked with CD player other than that it a nice remote to use with xbox.

The remote works very well but honestly should be included with the console since MS really pushes this as an all-in-one device.

The remote is hit and miss a lot of the times, when using volume but it's the remote I've had three and they all do the same thing

This remote for my XBox One works pretty well but it's a bit small so the buttons are harder to press. It's great overall.
