This remote is awesome, it is the perfect addition to the Xbox One. It lights up when moved. Pretty awesome when you are watching movies in the dark, or looking for it in the dark. Plus it has full control of the system with no accoutrements required.

Works fine my only issues are that the back is rounded not flat so it will slip off of flat surfaces. The remote is infra red so you have to aim it directly at the front of the xbox for it to work. Otherwise it is fine and I do use it for non-gaming w/xbox.

I certainly like the feel of this Remote: solid with anti-slip surface and elegant buttons. The only downside would be its narrow field of detection and I know it was mentioned before but I would still recommend it.

The integration of your cable/satellite into the Xbox one is a great feature, and the voice commands work fairly well but having a simple to use remote for channel changing and DVD controls is helpful. The remote was easy to setup and use.

This is a great remote for Xbox One. The feel of the remote is nice and is much better then using the controller when using the media apps (YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, etc.). If you have an Xbox One, I recommend that you pick up this remote.

I bought this for my bf as he has the new XBox. We ended up using it all the time as it controls not just the game system but our TV apps as well. It's super easy to use especially if you don't have cable like us and just have a bunch of tv apps on your console. Love it!

I first doubted whether this completes my need but when I started syncing my devices and using it, I didn't find any complaints later. Works with my Xbox One, Vizio Sounbar (Sync Issue with Vizio, delayed actions), Sony UHD TV. So far satisfied

I have my cable box hooked up through my xbox, which is one of my favorite features of the xbox one. It makes switching between inputs so much easier. I was hoping this remote would replace my TV remote and the xbox controller (for non gaming purposes), and while it does do that to an extent, I still find myself using my TV remote frequently. Between the features that aren't featured on the xbox one remote (numbers, dvr access are the biggest omissions), and the fact that the remote usually doesn't work unless it's pointed directly at the console, and usually needs to be situated directly in front of the console, I find myself wishing I'd just saved the money. I don't know if I got a lemon, or if this is typical, but it was a bit disappointing. If you don't have your cable box hooked up to your xbox like I do, or more specifically are using the xbox on a secondary TV, then this would probably be a good purchase. For someone in my case, save the $.

Wish I would have bought this when I first got my Xbox One! I originally planned to, but hesitated for some odd reason. It's definitely worth it! It lights up when it is moved so there's no struggle in finding the play button on movie night!

This is overall a great little remote. And I do mean little. But well made. If you use your Xbox for Blu-ray's or streaming then you must get this. So much better then messing with the controller. Highly recommend it.

If you are a movie watcher on your XBOX, this is so nice. Looks and feels like a regular remote. Much nicer to use than the controller. Simpler and more intuitive when you watch movies / videos. Excellent Value.

This new Xbox One remote is a very basic and simple remote that has the buttons i need. It does not have any numbers as they are not necessary. The remote has a sensor so that when you move it or pick it up, the buttons light up.

We bought this remote for watching movies streamed through our home network. We didn't want to have to use a regular controller, since they turn off after inactivity and don't have the buttons labeled for easy control of media. Right out of the box, it was cool. It is a black color that is the blackest black. Spinal Tap would love the color. The buttons illuminate when you pick it up and the effect it cool. It works perfectly for controlling the movies. Once you add a Kinect to your system it gets even cooler, since it will allow you to control your TV and sat/cable box. This is a must have add on for anyone buying an Xbox One.

Watching Bluray/DVD or streaming video via apps is laborious if using the Xbox controller. This makes it much easier, especially with cool features like backlit buttons for movie theater viewing. Great value of use per dollar!

Really fantastic product. I love that the buttons light up when I pick it up. I like the texture, kinda rubberized. I was also able to connect it to my samsung tv, directv dvr and yamaha soundbar, and control them all with my xbox remote. There are a few cases where I need to press yellow, red, blue or green, and am unable to do so with the remote... however, this doesn't' happen very often. Microsoft missed a trick with no adding voice control of cortana through the remote, but still a great product.

This remote is awesome. Its light weight and the buttons are backlit. It works flawlessly. It is a must have for the Xbox One as your multimedia hub. I can't believe I waited over a year to buy it. If you are considering it, buy it.

This is so much easier to use than the controller. It fits in my hand nicely & lights up when moved do you can see the buttons.

This remote is a must have accessory if you own an XBOX ONE. Many times i just use my XBOX as a cd player or to watch youtube. Gamepads/controllers are not always comfortable to use just to have media controls. This remote serves the purpose and works perfectly.

It is actually pretty handy. It helps preserve the battery of my actual xbox one controllers since I always forget to turn them off when I'm off netflix. The only downside is that you have to point it directly at the console since it's not bluetooth.

This is a must have remote if you own XBox One. If you are like me meaning you find it somewhat burdensome to control XBox One when you are not playing a game, this remote will solve that problem and make life a little easier.
