I picked one of these up to watch HDR blu rays on my TV, and then I realized my TV didn't do HDR, just 4k, and had to buy a new TV as well. The end result is spectacular. I've got a Day One special edition XB1, as well as another XB1 I purchased a year or so ago to get a larger drive for me, and passed my Day One edition to my son. So we've been using the XB1 since launch. We love it, and I've always preferred the XB live platform to the Playstation online system. We do Halo and Destiny. Once I had the right TV, it stopped nagging me about making sure I plugged it into a TV that supported its features. And I popped in the 4K HDR disc of "The Martian." And it blew me away. Incredible details, bright and dark is amazing, something the old Xbox One couldn't do. For the gaming side of things, it looks fine, about the same as I was used to on my previous one, but it's smaller, and quieter. Another bonus is the USB port isn't buried on the side, that's a pain to get at depending on how it's set in a cabinet or TV stand. The downside - no Kinect port, so you'd have to buy an adapter to use a Kinect with this. If you're fortunate enough to have purchased a Day One edition, they will let you go to an online page and enter the info to get the adapter for free, which I did. They warn of a long shipping time, and I had mine in about 3 business days, so it wasn't as bad as they said it would be. It worked fine, but it takes an external power brick and couple cables to get things hooked up. I like that the power supply is internal, so there's no external power brick. I have always hated that on the XBox units. Finally just a plug to the wall. The Xbox instantly recognizes the 4K TV and enables that resolution. I would've preferred a standard matte black body, but this was only available in the Battlefield edition with the olive colored body, and a white one. So I went with this. I got it on sale, so certainly can't complain about the price. And the game bundled with it is pretty impressive, even if it's not one that I've ever played before. I tried it out, and the graphics were pretty impressive. Gameplay was smooth and transferring the data from my old to the new was a bit of a slow process since you have to jump through hoops for every single game and app, you can't just do a global "copy all" but at least you can move it via a USB drive. All told, I'm very happy. I only have a handful of HDR discs so far, but the difference is amazing, and watching movies is a joy on here now, and playing games is just as addictive as it's always been...

Upgraded from the Xbox ONE, immediately noticed the performance difference and I bought a 4K tv this black Friday just to get the better quality of gaming.

One gig, is plenty of space, the graphics amazing and the price was awesome. I love the fact that I don't have to buy a physical game anymore, all digital.

I got a great deal on my xbox, it was $50 off and I got a free controller and 3 months live subscription. Best buy has always been my electronics store!

The picture is extremely crisp and the colors of the picture are amazing. The Xbox one S is very compact, making it easy to move around and fit in places.

This is my first jump into the new generation of game systems. Graphics are good and the games are entertaining, 1tb storage provides plenty of space.

4K blu-ray player. HDR. Video games. This machine is much better and faster than the original. I don't regret upgrading. The military green looks awesome.

I love the army green controller and console. The part I'm not fond about is Microsoft removing the kinect port. Had to have them send me the enormous adaptor no charge so my kids can play the dance game. So although the console is smaller, I have twice as many wires

I bought this xbox for $250 which is a steal and it came with a free controller.

Awesome colored Xbox One S with plenty of internal storage to spare. Sleek console with power brick built inside, so power cord is thin. Awesome package.

Great how much smaller this console is than the original. Also is military green which is awesome. The controller is the best part, blacked out letters.

This purchase was made with the intention of watching 4K Blu-rays. The movies look crisp...clear...and vibrant. As a family, that's how we enjoy this X-Box. Alone, my boys and/or husband enjoy playing the installed game...the fact that it is Army green is just a bonus. I do wish that the game had been a hard copy so that space would not be a concern in the future. I would have subtracted 1-star for that reason however the fact that this is a gaming system AND a 4K Blu-Ray player makes up for it. I believe this to have been a savvy purchase...2 toys for 1 money.

Bought this xbox during Black Friday, which made it extremely cheap compared to most 4k blu ray players. The movies play great and look crystal clear.

I love the new size and updated power cable. 4k plays well and looks great when watching tv/movies. Games look amazing. Definitely worth the upgrade.

It has 1TB of memory and came with Battlefield 1download for $300. This was a great deal. I haven't had any problems with it. I also like the color.

Really nice color and finish to this system. Definitely not cheap at all. Battlefield 1 added with the console makes this purchase worth the price.

Best gaming console I have owned yet! Even with my poor wifi speed, the console performs extremely well and the graphics for games are incredible.

I already owned a Xbox one. That said this Xbox one S was a no brainer, just for the ability to play 4K bluray dvds. The 1 tb storage is a bonus.

Picked this up at at 75$ discount after my Xbox one died. Upgraded HD, 4K bluray player, battlefield one and new controller. Just what I needed!

Great console and Best Buy had a great deal on them around Christmas. Take some getting used to as with any new system not really enjoying it
