Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the Xbox One S 1TB Battlefield™ 1 Special Edition Console Bundle's stunning 4K graphics and picture quality, along with its ample storage and sleek design. Many appreciate the improved performance and ease of use, while the console's color and smaller size are also frequently praised. Although some past models had a bulky power supply, this is no longer an issue with this model.

    Not a fan

I love Battlefield but this console is lackluster. With just the green system and controller it looks flat out plain. At least they should have put some type of design to it.

    Bad Investment

I purchased this console for watching 4k movies and gaming in this exact order. I would have gave this review a lesser rating if I could. Keep in mind I purchased a new samsung UN65D9000 4k TV, Denon 11 channel Atmos ready, all new 4k HDMI cables, 7.1- atmos built in/sub woofer Klipsch RP speakers, and to include all new 4k movie purchases. Now when incorporating the X-box into this ecosystem is when all the trouble began. First off the X-Box will not play all 4k movies. It played all my collection accept for Lucy and Oblivion 4k. I contacted microsoft and they claimed ignorance, but yet on there forums people have been complaining about this same issue for months. Its currently a blame game between Microsoft and the Universal studios who make both these 4k movies. Also the X-box one S does not produce Atmos sound, which may not matter to you if you are not ready for this technology. The bottom line is that if you buy a console for its movies and gaming capabilities it should be able to do both. Long story short I have returned the console back to best buy and purchased an Oppo player. After hooking it up my new player guess what happened!? it played Lucy and Oblivion with no issues. Microsoft and Universal need to get there act together. Its 2017 and there is no excuse for selling a sub par console in this day and age. I highly recommend you stay away from this device until the issue with movie playback compatibility is fixed.

    No Instructions included!!!

Bought this for my kids and myself. Opened the box and no instructions other than plug the electrical cord in. The controller also had NO instructions too. What the heck does the buttons function do? The next thing the game package that came with the unit was nothing more than a product code to download. At 47 Gigi-bites it took forever to load, that program should have been preloaded on the machine. If you wanted to use this as a stand alone game console it would be useless without internet access. I am 65 and this is the first game console I have ever bought, not impressed. Tech speaking the machine is OK, literature, instruction non existent. Way over priced for what you get. (get me back to "Ping")

    Good graphics, horrible otherwise

If you JUST WANT TO PLAY games, the X Box One S isn't for you! Spent hours downloading updates and 1 game upon initial setup. I have a wired, 300mbps internet connection and the X Box One downloaded at 20mbps for several hours. Once we attempted to use the system a day later (waiting on the downloads to complete), had to setup no fewer than 5 online accounts to play 1 game. Could not add users to play multiplayer game. No user manual, no help available on X Box site. Every step is complicated. My several year old PS3 was a much better system. It's almost 2017, I can't believe Microsoft is producing such a horrible, complicated product. Will be returning ASAP!

Unfortunately, I was. Yes this plays 4k disk but if you're assuming that means it will pass Dolby Atmos or DTS:X to a qualified receiver then you'll be very disappointed.

    Xbox one S freezing/blank screen

The New Xbox One S I purchased for Xmast, keeps freezing Up more like the screen going blank for a second or two sometimes longer while playing games, watching Netflix, Blu-ray and btw the Xbox one S Amazon video app does not show the movies on 4k. This is really annoying. The latest patches are installed. Rebooted, full shut down and resetted it back to defaults. Base on online researched these are known issues. I'm exchanging it and hoping the new one does not have this problem.

    Horrible product! DO NOT BUY

This product is absolutely horrible. Microsoft customer service is absolutely horrible. Games take a day to download even with the disc. Kinect is not compatible with Xbox One S, you need to buy a SEPERATE adapter which alone is $50. Interface is prehistoric looking, everything is overpriced, machine breaks and overheats easily. Please for your sake go with a PS4

Thought this was black, instead it's a shockingly ugly green, looks terrible on my shelf. I was tricked.
