A great upgrade to an already great system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I weighed my options waiting for Scorpio or this and honestly felt Scorpio with the VR would really just be another Kinect. A few cool games that ultimately fall flat for a hardcore gamer so I opted for the One S. I had the original Xbox One prior but wanted more storage capacity in addition to my external drive. Love the system... only wish it still came in black to match my other components.

Xbox finally has the upper hand on Playstation!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally owned the Xbox One, but since I had a 4K TV not being utilized, I needed to get this. I did give this 4 out of 5 only because if you don't own a 4K TV, you might as well continue to use the Xbox One. Plus, later this year Xbox will come out with a whole new system (which I plan on getting also). Don't get me wrong, this system is amazing! It is faster than the original Xbox One, and contains some pretty cool cosmetic upgrades as well. The new bluetooth controller that can be used with this is a great upgrade because you can also use it to play your games on a PC. I am very happy with this purchase. The Gears of War game is a fun bonus too!

Ok for gamers but it's not for me

Microsoft did not design this system for people like me. I wanted my nephew to be able to play when he comes to visit and I wanted to play on occasion just to pass the time. However, I have to say I'm extremely frustrated with the amount and type of set up required. Once you get to play, it's nice. But I honestly probably wouldn't have spent that kind of money on a system if I'd known how poorly it would function without high speed internet.
