1st time xbox owner (been a playstation person)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.after owning playstation for the past i decided to try the xbox platform... i currently own the ps4 pro also gaming in 4k hdr... i can say this is not bad... i really like the features of the xbox versus the ps4s.. it has backward compatibilties, pc streaming gaming, 4k blu-ray/streaming. the only gripe i had was when i found out xbox is still using double aa batteries for their controllers... you still have to buy the play and charge kit unlike the ps4 they come with it... but the bluetooth on their controller is a nice touch though, you can connect to pc anytime without buying the usb dongles like the ps4s... overall, the only lacking in xbox is the exclusive games.. i mean if they have exclusive games like the ps4 im sure they will be the best console...

Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just upgraded from my Xbox 360 and I love the new system. Definitely go with 1TB if able as each game I've played takes up anywhere from 40 to 70GB

GREAT CONSOLE!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the original Xbox One and I am very pleased with all the new features to the One S. I was in the market for a 4k Blu-ray player and I compared prices and the Xbox One S was by far the smarter option.

The Xbox One S is a great next gen!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4K graphics are great! It's about time Xbox went Blu Ray!!! Like the Bluetooth Controllers but should be able to use BT headphones & keyboards. A Terabyte seems like a lot of storage but the One games require too much space and should be compressed. However It is greatly appreciated that external hard drives can be used. The "S" version was well worth the wait!

Arguably the best gaming console out now!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's nothing new to add to the existing reviews but that doesn't make the Xbox One S any less great. It's a great gaming console that will be supported for a couple more years to come. What places this console above the ps4 for me though is that it's also a 4k Blu ray player which really means your paying for a gaming console and a 4k Blu ray player. The current games look great on it but if you want to take full advantage of the Xbox One S it's imperative to have a 4k TV to go along. I got this at a phenomenal price during black Friday and it came just as expected. This console is also a perfect way to get into gaming at a good price if that's what you're looking for. Xbox One S reigns supreme for now!

Good, but wish it played all 360 games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a really good change from xbox 360 considering that it plays blueray/4k dvds, and that it takes up less space because of the power box built inside. I also love that you can connect to wifi wirelessly. Although it's a really good console, it could use some improvements. You can only play some of the games from xbox 360 and the list is very short. This was a disappointment because the xbox 360 could play both 360 games and the original xbox games. It would be nice if Microsoft could make all 360 games playable on xbox one s instead of having to buy them again. That was my main complaint. In this bundle the vertical stand is not included, and you have to buy it separately even though other bundles do come with it. Another thing that I wish I knew before, is that the controller for xbox one s requires double A batteries and a chargable battery has not yet been made by Microsoft. You can buy the one made by Insignia, but sometimes it can fit too tight in the controller and the lid does not fit right. If you are planning on buying an xbox one, buy the xbox one s because it has a lot of improvemments from the xbox one, which came out first. Other than that, I like it and the color is really nice, but I think a black console would look really cool too.

Awesome system!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox one S is a step up from the Xbox one. The sizing is much better and the performance is superior. If you are looking for a reliable gaming system this is the way to go. No complaints from me.

Love the new Xbox one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.New Xbox one works great. Great picture and love that it does 4K. If you have an older Xbox one and Kinect you can get an adapter from Microsoft for free to play it on the new system.

Good system but I'd wait for the Xbox scorpio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own both a PS4 and this system. There are aspects of each that I enjoy. Sony has better and more exclusive games and I feel like navigating the user interface is a lot easier and cleaner. However, I like the Xbox controller better and the achievement system better. Their is more flair with the menus and systems on Xbox which makes it more of an exciting experience but what comes with that is more advertisements cluttering your view. There are more options for handling system management with Sony whereas there's more customation for your profile on Xbox. However, I think Sonys themes are are really great. A few things I love about this system are several great 360 games that are backwards comparable and that you can play media easier on Xbox. The console I got was bundled with gears 4 which so far, I love. It's a little slower than my PS4 at running games and booting up. Also, the graphics aren't quite as good but it's not a massive difference. If you already have an Xbox 1 I'd just wait for the Scorpio which is less than a year away and is supposedly a huge improvement. It's a great deal though as it's also a 4K bluray player.

Made me a believer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a loyal Sony customer for almost 2 decades. I had dabbled in xbox ownership in the past but never really got too into it. After a few weeks with this rig I am really starting to come around. It is indeed the centerpiece of my media center in the living room. The up conversion capabilities for TV service alone make it a must own. The fact that it has a built in 4k blu ray and is backwards compatible just seals the deal for me. I have an extensive backlog if games that I can tap into whenever I want. I am still getting used to all of the ins and outs of the multiple services but I absolutely love it so far!

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even without a 4k tv this makes all games and videos look better and it seams to preform better than the standard Xbox One. Plus free game with it can not go wrong there.

Microsoft - Xbox One S 1tb Gears Of War 4 Console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 13 year old son wanted an XBox for Christmas so he could play games with a friend who moved across the country. His friend and other friends had the Xbox instead of his PlayStation or WiiU, so he is enjoying visiting / playing with his buddies, just like the "old days", while playing on the Xbox. As I mentioned, he has other gaming consoles. Each one is good and has it's place, but I would have kept him on the WiiU if he were a few years younger because I feel Xbox and Playstation have more mature games that are not age appropriate for young children. Best Buy had a GREAT offer on the Xbox for Black Friday!

New Xbox One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Smaller, faster, we can rebuild him.....sorry, got sidetracked! It is smaller, has better graphics works with 4K discs, which is the part I wanted, so I upgraded.

Good Console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my girlfriend for her birthday. Already have the xbox one elite but wanted to have one in each room. This one is alot smaller and no bulky power supply, also the power button is a button and not touch sensitive like the other one. The button seems less innovative but I actually like it more. If you haven't bought a one yet I would definitely recommend paying a little more for the s. If you are thinking about upgrading from the one to the one s, I would consider how much you value form over function. I love it but at the end of the day it functions the same as the original one.

Time to replace the day one unit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wanted a 4K DVD player to go with my TV, and Xboxes tend to fail after a few years in my experience. Smaller, fits better. Still haven't seen a 4K DVD though.
