Way more costs than I knew about. Controller doesn't work very well. Games are really hard to play.

Microsoft took away cooperative Halo play with split screen. I bought the system on a whim hoping to play with my girlfriend and never expected they would take away such a basic feature of one of the flagship games so that they could force you to pay for online cooperative play. And their CONTROLLERS DON'T WORK WELL WITH RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES; they want you to pay for Microsoft$ rechargeable battery pack! Also, the system is a powerful unit but they CHOSE NOT TO PROVIDE CUSTOMERS with features that would make it more useful, such as DVR. I might actually feel like I got my money's worth if they'd add this feature and all it would require would be a software upgrade! Supposedly there was talk of this in the past but they backed out. Speaking of software upgrade, the downloads for initial UPDATES WHEN INSTALLING NEW GAMES ARE HUGE, like 60-80GB sometimes!!! I have a fast connection and it still took HOURS Are they even using compression? I hope that I influence at least one person to THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING an Xbox.

Not being a Gamer this game is too difficult to play for an old man.

I had the opportunity of purchasing a 1TB XBOX ONE S with NFL '17 (only game they had available beside Minecraft) and 3 extra games + an extra controller. Roughly a week after purchasing this console from Best Buy, I turned it on and it told me that I needed to send it in and that it was broken. I decided to bring it into the Microsoft store where they had to replace it after I purchased a warranty through them, I got a new one that works great! I would not buy anything like this through Best Buy again.

I did not receive a code within our purchase of the bundle with Madden 17. I have called Best Buy customer service for the last 3 weeks / 2x's a week and have been told that I should receive code via email within 24-48hrs. Today marks 4 weeks with no code so I call again and am now told that they will not email the code and that I need to return the console (which is set up with all the account names/parent controls, etc) SO FRUSTRATING i just want to return the whole darn thing.

beware it does NOT play many of the older 360 games !!! bought it because it said it would. Madden 17 is fun.

I didn't like it, hard to maneuver through the menus so I went with the PS4 instead

This console would shut down unexpectedly while watching a movie and playing games. I contacted technical support and they could not fix the problem. I am returning this item.

Didn't purchase as it was discontinued. Had it ordered because team member said it was in warehouse.

Xbox failed after only powering on once. Usually I am a supporter of Xbox but this is pretty lousy.

We have played on this XBOX One S since 11-24-2016 (black friday) and now have the XBOX Ultimate Pass subscription and its working great. This has so paid for itself with gaming and watching 4K movies.

I can't download the game. It took hours to start. I had to re-buy it. Very disappointed.

The home screen is hard to navigate. It's difficult to find where things are.

Xbox one s is so much smaller than the original! It runs a lot faster, and has a 4k bluray player! This is absolutely the best value for a gaming console!

Beside being the cheapest option for a 4K ultra high definition blu ray player, this is also a wonderful entertainment system. Not only are you getting the hardware, but Madden 17 also comes along with this bundle along with 1 month of EA Access (EA's library of full games). Furthermore, the main purpose of this review was to inform you about specific HDR standards. In the world of HDR there ar a number of standard HDR versions. The main two so far are named HDR10 and DOLBY Vision and the only HDR that is compatible to the Xbox One S is HDR10 which may come as a surprise to those that have recently purchased tv's specifically for the new upgrade like myself. Luckily, I purchased the Vizio 2016 M Series which adds a firmware update to support HDR10. Make sure that when you purchase a new tv that you make sure your new tv is HDR10 compatible. It would be terrible if it weren't and you'd been waiting for this new improvement.

I am a Madden geek. I have bough Madden every year since I could. I needed a new Xbox One anyways so I decided to get the Xbox One S. All I have to say I am very impressed. Clean look, Quiet, Smooth. Also 1 TB of storage! If you're a big Madden fan like me I would get this bundle in a heart beat. You won't regret it!

We love the newest version of the Xbox. The addition of being compatible with 4k, the slimmer design, higher memory and ability to stand up are great!

I've played both PS4 and Xbox One and Xbox One has WAY more features than the PS4. It runs cooler, the UI is easier to navigate and the colors and saturation are definitely more vibrant on the XB1. Don't let big paid advertisement websites tell you PS4 is better. IT ISN'T. Its all paid marketing. Sony is dumping money into marketing so they can try to be superior. The Xbox One S is super thin, super light, no heat, and runs virtually noiseless. Be sure to pick up a copy of Destiny as its the best game out right now! Enjoy!
