Xbox one s 2tb is just like a xbox one but smaller with larger storage. Only recommend it if you need a storage upgrade and own a 4k tv

The cheapest UHD Blu Ray player out there is also a gaming console. I say the Blu ray part first becsuse this is the big addition on the Xbox One S. There is not much of a reason to get one if you own a first edition of the Xbox One, but if you can find a good trade in (best buys $125 isn't great) then it is worth it if you have been wanting 4k Blu rays but not wanting to pay 400-500 bucks just for a player.

The Xbox One S is so much slimmer then the first one to come out. It also runs effectively and is nice without the big power brick.

System has plenty of storage 2tb. Don't have to worry about not having enough room for games. Quieter than the original Xbox one.

Great Upgrade from the Original Xbox One

If you have an original Xbox One and you have a 4K TV, this is a great upgrade. Not only will you be able to play 4K Blurays and 4K content on your TV, but the game upscaling to 4K works great too. Also the Xbox One S is slightly more powerful than the original Xbox One and some games will run a bit better on the Xbox One S than the original Xbox One. Hardware design wise it is very attractive and even the white color looks great mixed in with all the black colored devices in my entertainment center.

Bought the new One S after owning the original Xbox One and my reasoning behind the purchase was definitely the bigger hard drive among other things. Ever since I bought the One S I've loved using it especially for watching 4K movies. Great Console

Sleek presentation, amazing grafics and system response. I feel guilty in that I'm only using for games, as I'm sure multiple apps enhance experience. Only complaint is no family timer setup in Xbox One interface - this was present on Xbox 360. Had to setup IFt notification for time when console turns on/off to monitor kids usage.

Smaller, less wires to mess with and better looking along with a 4k blue ray player. Hard to beat for the price in my book.

As a gaming console, the Xbox One S is very good. It is smaller and best of all the power supply is much small. What really set this apart is the 4K Player. Without a doubt the best on the market. It is about the same price as standalone place and basically you are getting the gaming console for free. On the flip side, it is a standard price for a premium gaming system and your are getting the best 4K Video player for free. Each one of those, if bought standalone, would cost over $300.

The first one I got was actually defective or I would give it a 5 star. It would over heat within minutes of turning on and using. The replacement has had zero issues and works exactly as expected. The Xbox one S decreed that my TV was 4K and immediately asked if I would like to use that resolution. Other than being smaller, having 4K and more hard drive space it's just an Xbox one.

    No 4k Passthru

The new XBOX One S is definitely smaller than the original XBOX One. It's sleek and fast. Only comes in white (at this time). Says you can stream 4k media from Netflix and Bluray which may be true, I have not tried it yet. I was hoping it was a 4k passthru, because you can plug your Directv box directly into the XBOX and control your TV with the XBOX remote, however when I did that, my TV says the signal is not 4k compatible. Other than that, I'm happy with the purchase. If you can hold off, I'd probably wait for Scorpio to come out next year.

Great system, super happy with my purchase. Went through Best Buy and received great service. The 2tb storage is a must have and I've downloaded like 3-4 games now and have hardly made a dent in the storage. Only comment - sometimes when logging back in it takes a while because the app can't be restarted and tries to refresh to when I was last logged in (which is understandably impossible). Would like to see a better activation of reused apps to reduce latency. (Very small issue).

I think everyone knows what an excellent gaming system the xbox one is but this one plays 4k disks also for a truly amazing picture on my 4k tv. The only thing I didn't like about it is that there is no port to plug in the kinect sensor. Microsoft is coming out with an adapter, a full month later and charging $40 for it.

4k Netflix and blue ray is eye-popping. 4k upscaled games (all games are upscaled) look unbelievably good when compared to standard 1080 games and TV. Got a new 4k HDR TV with this...and its spectacular. HDR games coming soon so can't wait. The price for this much tech is fantastic. The best console i have ever owned.
