Gaming with 4K BD Player....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros UHD BD player with HDR support Game console Smaller than Xbox One Netflix 4k compatible Cons. not for people using 1080p sets with Xbox one. If one have to buy a new Xbox i would recommend to buy "one S" instead on xbox one for future proofing.

Runs great, looks great, plays great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitelly worth the money to upgrade! Plays 4k movies as well. This 2TB edition definitelly gives you enough room to store plenty of games. Also, NO MORE BRICK! If you are upgrading and have a kinect microsoft will send you a free kinect adapter as long as all of your gear is registered (xbox one, kinect, xbox one s).

Xbox one s is a beauty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hello all, I bought an xbox one s after owning a gen 1 system for a few years now. I went for the One s because I loved the chance to play with some UHD blu rays. It plays UHD blu ray quite well, and the blu ray player overall is an improvement over the old drive. The system runs smooth, but didn't speed up at all over the original Xbox One. The control is a huge improvement, with better feel, and better sensitivity on the analog sticks. I give the controller a 5 out of 5. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because microsoft isn't supporting better types of audio formats for hardcore theater users.

Great Console, Now even better with a 4K Player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1st off, this update came at a perfect time. I have a launch day console and recently bought a 4K Samsung TV in July..So this was almost a no brainer. So far the games I played 4K upscaled, have that extra shine (The Division, Halo 5, Quantum Break) haven't really tried anything else YET, jist got it today though lol. Looking forward to the HDR enabled games and buying a few 4K movies..Overall very happy with the console, thought I would have to warm up to it, but Its done everything promised 4K Video, 4K Upscale Blu-Rays/Games, faster booting, better controller connectivity. This has me really hyped about Scorpio Holiday 2017..

4K Apps and HDR
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome combo for gaming, 4K blu-ray player and HDR source for streaming Netflix etc. (for those 4K TV's that are not yet supported via built in Netflix HDR) Review Over View: 1. HDR Netflix Experience 2.4K Disc Playback 3.VUDU (Not yet in 4K, maybe an update later down the road for 4K streaming) I currently have the LG OLED EF9500, and I used Netflix on this console to take advantage of HDR. Since 2015 TV's are not yet on the list to have built in Netflix app to support HDR. If you are familiar with Netflix; some titles will list "HDR 4k". It seems that when I open the Netflix App, my TV notifies me on the right hand corner that "HDR is now on" even though I have not even chosen a title to watch and even if the Title I am watching is not even HDR or 4K. So not sure if it's my TV or an issue with software on the console. There is a difference on the picture quality based on what I see, but not sure if it's just the TV creating a Pseudo HDR. 4K Blu-Ray Awesome that it is able to play Native 4K Disc, however the audio I am seeing does not seem to support Dolby True HD or DTS HD. So if you have a great home theater set up, or have an Atmos set up. Then i'd suggest purchasing a dedicated 4K Disc Player.

Very good product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just received my Xbox one s in the mail, Got it open and set up on my lunch break, So stoked to get off and get to play it, Getting 4k TV as soon as I get rid of my other Xbox one. Then ill be able to see a big difference, Big reason of getting this Xbox is the 2tb hard drive, tired of uninstalling games to install other ones, Spend extra money on new Xbox. Instead of buying $100 external hard rive. Very nice product, Very slim and light. 10/10

Good upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the smaller size and no power brick. No Kinect port, you have to order the adapter from Microsoft. The new controller is not that much different than the old one, I feel like Microsoft over sold it. Having 2 gig of storage is nice.

White?? Are you kidding me? Performance Excellent!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Come on Microsoft what's up with the white console? Didn't you learn your lesson from all of the unsold white Quantum Break consoles stacked to the ceiling at retailers? Who was in charge of this decision, the "Hello Kitty" team? Now I digress. The performance of this new console is excellent. I paired it up to test with a new 4K 60" Samsung and the quality of graphics is outstanding. Although not a must have over the first Generation XBOX One, It's a good choice if you currently do not have an Xbox One. I ended up returning it until they come out with a black version. The white looked to Girly sitting in my entertainment center. I'm back to using the Nvidia Shield TV for 4K Gaming and movies.

Love it. Worth the $ for 4K blu ray alone.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Xbox, and the 1s is no different. Slim, verticle, and fast. That said I have two big issues with the 1s. First the touch button is now an actually button. Some may like this but the difference is off putting. The second is what appears to be a slight flicker at times on some games. I.e. Hitman and just cause 3 in the brighter colors and white colors. That may just be my tv but I don't think so.

Best Value For Any Console
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console was my favorite current-gen purchase I made. I have all of the current (and several previous generation) consoles, and the features of this one outweigh the others so much. First of all, it has a 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player (for close to the same price as a player on its own). Second, it has 2 TB of storage. These were the two features that stood out most to me, because I am consistently deleting games on my 500 GB XBox One in order to create space for new downloads. I know, I could have just used an external hard drive, but I prefer to keep the clean look of just a console on my shelf. That brings me to the next feature: the console is sleeker looking and much smaller than the XBox One. It also gets rid of that gigantic warm power brick. The included controller has a slight grip on the back of it, making it more comfortable to hold while maintaining a familiar feel and button layout. All in all, this console is a great all-in-one package, and it will be even better when Microsoft soon releases the Windows/XBox cross-play functionality. *FYI: A common misconception of this console is that it is 4K. It does NOT play games in 4K, nor does it upconvert them. Color saturation will be better if you have an HDR compatible TV though, and it is a fantastic 4K UHD Blu-Ray Player.

Great upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently gave away my new xbox because it only contained 500gb of memory. Now purchasing this box and re-downloading all my games i still have 1.5 TB left and i downloaded already 5 games I play nonstop. I think this is a great investment if you play a lot of variety of games and need storage for them because these games coming out require a lot of memory.

Great console and 4k player
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a Samsung 4k TV and a day 1 Xbox One so when this announced with a 4k drive it was a must buy. The picture quality is amazing when playing a movie in 4k. Would recommend anyone looking for a 4k player to pick this up. Xbox has a great game selection and now the cheapest 4k player.

After 3 months I can finally review this.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my old xbox one for the new xbox one S 2 terabyte version. I bought this on launch day because it's stated it would be HDR ready and will improve older games. I also purchased a 65" Samsung curved TV with HDR Support for the System and I am happy to announce that it has kept its word. Gears Of war 4 looks beautiful and is playing very well on this new updated System. However, I have not seen a huge difference on my older games. I hope they release a patch to fix this issue or at least a update that can make our older games look even better.

Nice Upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Faster processer, larger hard drive, playing 4K movies is a nice added feature. Little annoying that the Kinect doesn't work with it right out of the box, you need an additional part (free for original Xbox One with Kinect Purchasers). All in all, a nice upgrade.

Great upgrade in certain situations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As most of the reviews here have mentioned, there is not a noticeable difference in performance between this version of the X-Box One and the original. However, where the S version shines is in regard to 4K playback and the new controller. On the first floor of of our house, I run a Control 4 system that is stored in a closet. With the old X-Box, the controller range was abysmal and the user was forced to sit within 10 feet of the closet in order to play. With the new one controller, however, I have the freedom to move throughout the house with absolutely no lag. Some have had that you should consider an older version since there are a number of deals out there. However, if this is your first foray into the X-Box realm, go with this version. You won't be disappointed.
