I have 2 Sony 4K TV's, neither have HDR, a technology I was unfamiliar with when I bought these TV's. When I hooked up the Xbox one S I was hoping to check as many of the 4K boxes as possible. Unfortunately when I performed the 4K system check list provided from the settings menu on the Xbox one S only one box was checked. The box did recognize that my TV's are 4K. The technology in my less than 2 year old XBR55X850B and my less than 1 year old XBR49X830C does not support most of the tech used by the Xbox one S. I bought the Xbox one S for two main reasons, the UHD Blu-Ray player and the larger 2TB hard drive. Both of these features work as expected and the UHD Blu-Ray looks great even without the HDR support. I knew I didn't have HDR before I bought the Xbox one S and am happy that I now have access to true 4K content through the UHD Blu-Ray player. Everything I play or stream through this Xbox one S looks great.

Great system so far. I also have a PS4. I love them both. I got the Xbox because of 4K discs and streaming for my new LG 4K TV. The picture is great. Graphics on games are amazing. The green color for the Battlefield edition is a little darker than I expected.

This unit is quieter and much smaller than the old unit. The other nice thing is the power brick is built into the system, so no added bulk near the wall, like its predecessors. Once I upgrade my tv, I look forward to 4k and HDR treatment coming from this beast.

I have had both a Playstation 4 as well as the previous Xbox One and i am very impressed eith this upgrade. Its framerates run mostly parallel with the PS4 and has a 4k blu-ray player to top it off. Overall i am pleased with the new system. Well done Microsoft.

Sleek design tops original Xbox One by far. Has 4K Blue ray which is a must for those whom enjoy great movies in 4K, something the PS4 Pro dropped the ball on. Built in power supply. Pretty portable on the go. Will definitely hold me over until Project Scorpio.

This console looks great on its stand. Runs noticeably quicker than the original Xbox One, and 2TB has still yet to run out years later. If you don’t want to spend extra on the X model, this model is a fine alternative to consider.

Love the Xbox One S! Half the size of the original. Be sure that you read the capabilities on the back of the box to make sure your 4K tv will be compatible with the Xbox One S features of 4K. My one complaint is that so far it doesn't come in black!!!

When the xbox one was released I was not to happy about how bulky it was and I felt it was not good enough and now the Xbox one S is everything I wanted the console to be.. I used to love the 360 but the Xbox one just didn't make me happy so I moved to PlayStation 4 and now I'm happy to own a Xbox one S because it's awesome! Graphics still not as crisp as the PlayStation 4 but they improved and over all I'm really happy with it!

I was a little hesitant to buy the new Xbox One S since I already owned an Xbox One, but I am happy that I made the jump. The console takes up a lot less space and the internal power supply replaces the ridiculously huge power brick on the previous Xbox One. The 2TB hard drive is also a welcome upgrade. I already had an external hard drive for my old Xbox Once and was happy that it was plug and play...all of my data and games saved on the external drive were there and ready to play. I haven't had the opportunity to watch a 4K DVD yet, but will be doing so soon.

XboxOne S is a great acquisition. I have had every single console from Xbox and I can truly say one of the best ones created has been this one. It is space efficient for its new smaller size. Great storage capacity and graphics are amazing too!

i have stayed out of console games for a long time, but when i heard of this newly designed xbox coming out for a reasonable price i preordered it immediately. Ive always preferred xbox and knew the games would be worth it but what really tipped the sails was the 4k bluray. for the same price as the only 4k bluray player on the market you also get an xbox! im all in for that

I purchased this gaming system mainly for Kinect; however, I watched a 4K movie on this system and the clarity was unbelievable! I needed a new blue ray DVD player and I was encouraged by reviews to wait for the one S; what a bonus!!!

If you have a 4K HDR compatible tv then this is for you. And the games look way better on this than the Xbox one on top of the fact that you have a 4K DVD player Microsoft hit the make with this one. Also the new design is so beautiful

I'm still on the Xbox 360. So for me its a perfect time to upgrade. Now I can play all the new games coming out this fall and early 2017. I bought a 4k tv from Best Buy. I was going to buy a 4k bluray player for it but its $399. So why would I buy that when this Xbox S offers all the extra content plus a real 4k uhd player. And its not an upscale player.

Nice to have 4k player at a reasonable price, push on button, so no more accidental shut offs. Picture is great and can definitely tell a difference with the upscaling. New controller is very comfortable and feels more natural.

I have the first xbox one and bought the xbox one s version for my 4k tv and the graphics are better looking for all games that take advantage of it and even the upscaling is great and of course it is smaller and no big brick.
