If you already got the original xbox one and don't have a 4k TV, then just stick to your original xbox. This xbox is a bit faster than the original and a 4k blu-ray player too with HDR.

Love how small it is and so much quieter than my last xb1 and 4K with no annoying brick in the cord.

This was an upgrade from a day one edition. So far, everything is running solid and I'm pleased with the purchase. The extra storage space was a great improvement and necessary. I appreciate having a USB port on the front but still wish they had more. I was also surprised they no longer have a Kinect outlet. I did figure out that Microsoft was offering a free adapter and acquiring one only rookie a quick phone call and a week or so to ship. Unfortunately it will now use one of the few USB ports available. Keeping in mind that this isn't a next generation gaming system, the machine is otherwise a nice upgrade from the original version.

I would recommend upgrading to this console if you want a 40% slimmer system with an internal power source. Along with a built in 4K blu-ray player and cool white contrast.

I paid extra for this because my son can download so many games. It's picture is great! I have to tear him away from the gaming system or he will play for hours and hours.

Absolute Best Value in Console Gaming

With the Xbox One S you get it all, an outstanding gaming console with great exclusives and a constantly updated experience with new features. On top of that the One S is a tremendous upscaler for non-4K content that results in a high quality picture on any 4k set. If you have an HDR10 compatible 4k TV then you get the added benefit of gaming, and viewing content with this unique, game changing feature. Last but not least, unlike the competitor's console, the Xbox One S includes a UHD Blu-ray player which makes it the only console to offer a complete 4k gaming and entertainment package. Outstanding value.

This is the Xbox that Microsoft should of launched with. Fast, quiet. Looks sleek in any entertainment system, not to mention up scaling of 1080p games to 4K if possible.

Much more smaller and better looking than the original, also noticed that menus and UI move a lot faster and sleeker. Great if you have a 4K TV, better if you have HDR.

At the time this was the cheapest 4K blu-ray player, that along with a much larger HDD than the original Xbox One and a smaller design made the upgrade worth it for me.

Is a really great 4k Blu-ray player. Have it paired up with a Vizio m55-d0. Picture looks great when it works. Either there's an issue with the Xbox or the Vizio TV, but when I have the video output set to 4k it plays fine for a couple of minutes and then the display goes to a white, snowy screen.
