Great for Home Entertainment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually didn't buy this specifically for gaming. I bought it to use with a projector. It easily allows me to pass the cable through the cable box and up to the projected. The built in live guide is great for watching tv. It was a really easy solution for getting tv, Netflix and Amazon up on the projector.

Xbox one s
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft did a great job on the new Xbox one slim. Only downside is I should've gotten a larger storage size than the 500 gig. They should tell you that all games must be downloaded to the system to be played. I will be adding an external hard drive to accommodate the additional gamessage I plan to purchase.

Great 4K Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox One S is Microsof's first 4K console. While the more powerful "Scorpio" is slated for a 2017 release, the "S" does output in 4K, and unlike the Sony PlayStation Pro, the "S" does play 4K blu ray discs, which is awesome for movie fans.

Good game consol
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Xbox only problem is that it updates a lot and games have to be loaded onto actual consol which takes a lot of memory

Not much difference between this & xbox one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been playing on XBOX'es since the original and they've all had problems! I guess it's just built into the programs. Haha just kidding, but seriously it really seems like the newer the console model the more problems they have. The problems I've had from this Xbox S doesn't seem to be any different from my Xbox One. From game freezing to the black screen that never ends till you reboot! If Microsoft what's to do something awesome for the upcoming Xbox X make it stop freezing up.

Another Microsoft Dud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having had nothing but issues with previous Xbox consoles, I wanted nothing to do with X1. The only reason for making the purchase was that it made fiscal sense to pay almost the same amount for a 4K Bluray player with some more bells and whistles. As suspected, the system lags, and really isn't fun. I've also used up more than half the stock memory by installing only three games. Not impressed.

Picture quality is superb
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 4K is great and the games are fun. The blu ray player that converts to 4K is worth the extra cost of getting the S

This is the oddest game system!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay somewhere it was told that I have to download games. My Atarti 64 was nothing like this. The WII wasn't like this. Times change I was told. Think past the invention of fire and the wheel they say. So I tried. We popped in Galaxa and first time I beat a 16 year old kid who played for 16 hours straight on it. He will continue to win at each game, but never will I be able to go back and not say I beat your high score the first time I played the game. That was the last time I played it.

It's an Xbox
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an Xbox, not much more to say. If you get the 500gb get an external hard drive of at least 2tb

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is awesome, but I does take quite a bit of time to set up. You have to install the games and download updates before you can play the games. If you have slow internet it will take forever to download the updates that are typically 3-10 GB in size. Be aware its not a open the box and play system.

Returned, read review though.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned this because it required Full HDR to get the most out of the 4K. I would recommend if your new to Xbox but not if your just upgrading from original. If your switching from PS4 it’s really hard to adapt and the updates take forever even if you have fast internet. The UI is much more time consuming if your coming from a PS4 but if your used to Xbox then I would recommend.

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The graphics are amazing. This was a step up from our Wii. Tricky at first to figure out, but that is to be expected.

Great system, some may have issues though...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I first purchased the Xbox One S Halo bundle which Best Buy no longer sells. I started having issues with that system. It would restart itself and occosionally I would turn it off and it would turn right back on. I believe the power supply was faulty. Microsoft walked me through some troubleshooting steps but nothing helped. I returned that console bundle for this one, and I haven't had a single issue. My advice, if you have any power issues right away, return it for a new one.

Worth the money for new Xbox One buyers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For someone new to the Xbox One, this is the perfect purchase. For someone upgrading from the first generation of Xbox One, it might be better to wait until Project Scorpio drops in the near future--unless you just have the disposable income or have enough trade-ins to mitigate the cost.
