The graphics are great the images are nice with the 4K on the bad side The Blu-ray player it's a little sketchy it tends to glitch at times

I was going to buy a 4k blu-ray player and about choked when I saw the price. As I was walking away a best buy rep told me about the Xbox one s and its ability to play in 4k. Well, needless to say it was a no brainer.. 4k blu-ray player, gaming system, multimedia abilities all rolled into one for the same price as a 4k blu-ray player. I bought an Xbox one s.

First off the white looks really good, it really is nice looking peace of tech. I have had the original black xbox one since they day they came out. I just finally decided to invest in a new one when I bought a 4k TV. I can only say one thing, IT LOOKS GREAT. I have been watching HDR movies. If you have a 4k TV or plan on getting one soon, get one for sure.

We already owned one of the XBox One systems but my 16 year old basically has taken over the family room on the weekends playing with his friends online. Decided to purchase the S for my 12 year old so they can play too. Looks amazing on the new LG 4K HDR. Love that it can play 4K blurays as well as stream all of the 4K content on Netflix and Prime.

Got the console for little guy having a great school year. As always couldn't beat the price. Best Buy covers all its bases price match, knowledgeable staff helped me pick the right console and offered a lot of great tips for maximizing the unit. This thing does it all. Have to monitor my sons time on it but really happy with the purchase.

I'm already an Xbox one owner, I wanted a second one for another bedroom of my house and I came across this Xbox on a deal under $200. So I bought it and I couldn't be happier. And this one actually became my primary Xbox it's so much smaller no power brick way later and virtually no noise. I do feel a tad faster going through the dashboard.

I have a 4k TV and wanted a UHD Blu Ray player. I have a PS4 Pro for 4K games, which look amazing, but maddeningly Sony doesn't include UHD Blu Ray playback on the PS4 Pro. The XB1S was $20 more than a UHD Blu Ray player so I decided to buy it. My experience with the XB1S has been decidedly mixed. Getting it set up was the first problem. Getting surround sound working with it was difficult even though everything was auto detected and worked without configuration on the PS4 Pro. I had to dig through the settings and trial and error things to get surround sound working. That was a bit of a hassle and seemed like it should have been automatic. The second problem I've had is sometimes UHD Blu Ray playback stutters. It seems like the XB1 sometimes does things in the background, even if you are playing a disk, so occasionally it will stutter. It has happened for maybe 10 or 20 seconds in about half of my playback sessions. Not horrible, but something I'd really like fixed seeing as though I bought it primarily for UHD BR. As a gaming and entertainment machine its pretty meh if you have a 4K TV. It doesn't do 4K gaming, and upscaled games don't look nearly as good as they do on the PS4 Pro. I tried playing some games on it but they look significantly worse than what I get on the Pro. The OS is kind of confusing and can be laggy compared to the dead simple and super smooth PS4 OS. Its decent machine but if you are using a 4K TV its most useful as a movie player.
