This should honestly be built into the controller or included with the original purchase. That being said it works well and is minimally intrusive.

This should have been released day one. Finally able to use my Astro A40 with mixamp on my XOne. Chat is easily drowned by game audio even with proper mixamp setup.

Bought this device for my son with an Xbox one. He was very happy to be ale to plug in his older headset to his new Xbox one controllers. Sound is only in stereo but he does not notice much of a difference.

This is my second one in about 3 years. I had to replace it since I lost my previous one but I works much better than the standard headphones adapter in the Xbox one controller

These adapters are ok. They eventually go out. It would be a better choice to buy a new controller that has the input jack already built in.

not much to say. this product does what it says it does. only minor complaint i have is the way the adapter actually slides in, could be a little more smooth.

Besides it coming out box defective and only working sometimes, it also had a delayed/laggy response when pressing the command buttons.

If you have a wired or older Headset for your gaming this is a must. Hopefully microsoft will make a better wireless/ blue tooth product soon.

This item does what it promises. I did have some issues once purchased but bestbuy helped get them sorted out and replaced the item.

Bought a pair of Astros A50, I love the response of the buttons and the options to switch from chat and game audio and mute all in from the reach of your thumbs. Would recommend 10/10.

I only dislike that it won't work with my apple headphones but will work with other cheaper mobile device headphones, otherwise it's great.

Great for connecting older headsets to the Xbox One. There does seem to be some loss of sound quality in chats when using the older Astro model headsets.

If your XBoxOne controller doesn't include a 3.5mm headphone jack - this adapter gives you what is needed to give you the chat headset connection and even volume controls. Works great.

It's ok it makes the controller a bit clunky and hard to unattach. but it works thats the good thing.

Make sure before you buy this item that you look up what headsets actually work with the adapter. I had 2 headsets and neither of them worked.

The adapter works as intended. Feels a flimsy meaning doubt will take a lot of abuse. Lol I know it won't survive a nerd rage episode.

With this it lets you use whatever headphone you have that use a 3.5 jack. Mainly just for audio, I cant use the mic on the head phones.

Our son said it works great and works perfectly. However, the lady who helped me when I paid was awful! Needs to be retrained to be friendly, and service oriented.

this is a product that you need if you want to use a headset that isnt directly made for xb1. this allows you to lower or increase game sound or chat sound. works well.

When combined w/a special Android cable, this enabled me to use my Bose Quiet Comfort 15 headphones w/the Xbox controller. Vast improvement over previous headset options.
