Although this adaptor was more expensive than my gaming headset, it is worth it because of the ability to control the game volume level and chat level separately.

If you want to be able to use a microphone through your headphones I would recommend the headset.

Simple plug and play is always great. Mute , game volume, and chat volumn are all within finger range. Add more versatility to your gameplay.

Seems to work okay, but I would have preferred a way to adjust volumes independently of each other. Theirs only a single master volume. You have to adjust the balance between game volume and chat volume and then adjust them together, up or down. And if it's not right you have to readjust the balance and volume again. But it's necessary for older X1 controllers so it's the price I pay.

while i wish the controller came with this adapter, the one i purchased works well. it fits snug and has not dropped the chat yet.

I bought a gaming headset and was disappointed there were no controls at the base of the controller for easy access. so I got this and problem solved.

I would definitely say this is a good product. Bought some headphone and didn't realize that my controller needed an adapter so this really came in handy.

The headset adapter is a good pick for a gamer. It allows you to use any 3.5mm headset/microphone with your X-Box.

Works as it should. The only input is basically the same headphone port on your phone. Will require an additional piece to connect a standard dual plug analog PC headset

The headset adapter allows me to use my turtle beach headset that I got for my xbox 360.

bought this for my husband and he seems to like how it works. said that he would get another one if he needed it.

The Xbox One adapter is a great addition to the console but I don't think its working correctly with my current headset correctly

Had one originally when I bought my headset, it broke, but I did not realize how important the mute feature is! And adjusting the chat / game volume!

This adapter is great for the Xbox Controler. Allowing you to use any headset of your chosing. Just plug it in and plug in your earbuds or headphones.

I'm not sure if this is the adapter's fault or the xbox one but chat only seems to work about 75% of the time. I have to reset the xbox and then it will start working. Its kind of a pain since it takes so long for the xbox to boot from a complete shut down. Maybe with a future update this will be worth 5 stars but for now its only worth buying if you have a really nice headset you want to use with the xbox one.

Works great. The only problem is the actual cable that comes with it. It is really thin and short. Breaks easily.

works very well! an expensive fix for a design flaw of the original xbox one controllers . I would however not recommend you buy this product as using it seems to drain the controller batteries quickly. Instead I would recommend buying a new style controller that comes standard with 3.5 mm support...you can get them on sale for around 35$ if you look...the extras 10$ is worth it!

I bought this adapter to use with my Turtle Beach headset from my Xbox 360 and it works beautifully. So thankful I don't have to buy a new headset!

Definitely a great saver on money if you have two systems and don't want to have two sets of headsets.

Didn't want to spend $73.42+ on a new headset after changing over from 360 to One. Bought this little guy and BAM! Awesomeness. P-A-R-T-why? Because it gotta!!
