    Had to buy this as an add on to the controller headset that was less expensive. After buying this, it was more expensive... the packaging is certainly misleading as to needing the adaptor, but the product is fine.

    This product worked great for 2 weeks after that there was a short in the wire and my son couldn't hear anything on his headset. If you buy this product buy the protection plan or hope that it breaks within the return policy dates
