This is required if you want to use a headset with the original Xbox One controllers. It works, but it's not of remarkable quality or value.

Does what it's supposed to but I feel like the price is to high for this product. They should've just made the controller right the first time.

The original Xbox one needed thus adaPter to plug in 3.5 aux jack headsets but the new Xbox one s controllers don't need these any longer.

Does not work with Turtle Beach XP400 headset- just buy the newest version of the Xbox controller and connect with the 2.5mm to 3.5mm wire directly

Didn't work with Apple earbuds. Had to use non Apple earbuds to work. There is a work around by adding converter but more expense.

Use it to hook up my headphones to my xbox one. Using headphones with a mic can be tricky. I ended up returning it and buying a set of Astro A50

Worked fine for 3 days and then started popping like it had a shortage in it. 2nd replacement screw it gonna buy a aftermarket set

this adapter has some issues. I use a turtle beach xl1 and sometime people say my chat is distorted also you may get an echo of game sound.

Does the job. However, you don't need to buy this if you're remote already has a 3.5 mm jack. I believe the newer remotes do.

I probably should have done a little more research before purchasing but this did not do what I was hoping it would. My fault.

Mic Mute doesn't really work all the time, bought it for a temporary fix while I got my Astro A40s in the mail.

I ended up going back and buying a headset built for the Xbox One instead of trying to use my old turtle beaches on the new console.

You're forced to get this if you bought a headset while using 360. Sound quality sounds great but sometimes it doesnt. It is what it is.

This product would work if I had known what it was for. Unfortunately it was not the product I needed and had to return.

The product itself is great, however I will just state this is ridiculous that after shelling out $65.00-$150.00 for a single Xbox controller that it does not come with a headphone jack like the PS4 controllers do. This is totally just a cash grab from Microsoft that you almost have to buy if you want to play online with friends and need to use headphones/microphones.

It worked but not great. Ended up just buying a headset with an adaptor included that worked much better.

It's pretty good because it's got buttons to control voice chat and game volume and overall volume

Should have been easy to set up but wasn't. There were no instructions included. Had to go online.

Not much to say about this. I had to but it because the headset I bought did not include this.

I was excited to learn about this headset adapter. I enjoyed using my turtle beach headset on my Xbox 360. I bought this adapter, connected to my controller, downloaded the software update and it still was unusable. I am hoping a new software update is released instead of having to buy a new headset.
