I bought this item so I could easily control the sound with out having to go to settings for my headset. The head set(Cloud Revolver) works fine when plugged directly into the controller. When I used this device there was major distortion issues with the sound. I might have just gotten a defective item but, the issue put me off enough not to bother trying again.

The adapter works great but the cord does not last very long.

The problem that I have is that no matter what headphones I use, the mic only picks up half the time.

We have two controllers - one that came with the xbox and the newer version. Can't plug the headphones into the older controller, but I didn't want to buy another controller. I thought the adapter would save a bit of money; however, I ended up having to buy a new controller anyway since this deal quit working after 3 months. Wasted $$$. Too bad.

party chat does not work with the elite controller. Works fine on normal Xbox one controller.

I got this in hopes I could use it with my recently purchased Bose QC20 headphones and it works beautifully. Well worth the $25. I would definitely recommend this. Update was quick and easy for the controller. Titanfall sounds great.

This Xbox one adapter stopped working after 20 days of purchase. Luckily I got my money back because of a holiday special on returns. Do not buy.

These are okay but don't really deliver the quality i was expecting.

While the adapter works, it makes the turtle beach from the 360 muffled and I can't figure out how to change just the chat volume (although that's not the products fault, but it should be simpler.) I'm going to have to buy a whole new turtle beach now anyway for the xbox 1 since this didn't work to my expectation

I'd rather go with the Xbox chat pad then the Xbox audio adapter. The quality seems better with the chat pad plus you can change the headset volume with it as well.

Bought this because I wanted to use my own headphone with it but it did not work. Tried using a few different type of headphone but no one could hear me. Had to return.

The wire connecting the control to Mic Broke, had to solder back on, Worked for about 2 weeks untill it completly Broke Thought Microsoft made quality things.

Item was missing the cord. Never got to use it. Didn't know the return policy was only 14 days for electronics. I still have the item but cannot use it!

The quality sucked really bad. I would recommend spending the extra 20$+ to get a better one. But id you need a temporary one just get this one.
