I bought the headphone/adapter bundle and am noticing that it crackles. It doesn't matter if I plug it in to the Titanfall controller, or the Day One controller, same issue. The controller is only 15' away from the console when it happens, and it usually doesn't have an issue for the first few minutes of use. I have tried it with my iPhone Ear Pods, as well as the Xbox One Stereo Headphones. It is more pronounced on the Xbox One Stereo Headphones, but I assume that is because the quality is better.

Works great can finally use my Astro's with my Xbox1.

The product is great for controlling sounds from the controller. BUT, this accessory causes random disconnects of the controller. This requires a controller reboot to get sound back. The stereo headset itself is not the problem because it can be plugged into the 3.5mm jack without problems. Adaptor/controller was updated to no avail. This is a known issue (see message boards) but there is no current fix. Based on the number of star reviews, I would assume that many users do not have this problem but the unlucky will find it infuriatingly frustrating.

Voice or game control keeps the player in control of their audio with his device you can use your Xbox one remote first gen and turn it in to a headphone 3.5 aux which most aftermarket high end headphones requires I use it with all my games and not one complaint

The controls weren't well thought out, but they do work after you realize how they are supposed to be used. Most new headsets come with their own, not Microsoft, adapter and work much better now.

The product has potential but unfortunately it is not compatible with apple headsets. so be prepared to buy another pair of headsets if you planned on using anything apple related

This device allows me to use my regular headphones with my original controller. No issues with connection.

description says the included 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter allows you to use your Xbox 360 headsets and it is just not true. Because of the tang on ether side of the Xbox 360 headset 2.5mm pin, the adapter is too wide to fit in-between those so it wont slip on. How they could miss that I do not know. If you have 360 headset without the tangs then it would work.

The module allows you to hear both the game and chat if you want the buttons are smooth and it makes chat clarity better.

It works sure but dies after 2 months of use, this is the 3rd headset adapter that died on me. 2 of them wound up stuck muted, and the other just flat out died. The best buy customer service employee at my nearest BB informed me they are no longer offering the protection plan for this item, you know its got to be junk if that's the case

I bought the item and I am very happy with the performance and excellent design.

DID NOT NEED TO GET ANOTHER HEADSET FOR XBOX ONE USED THIS ADAPTOR!!! SO GLAD MY SON KNEW ABOUT THIS
