Works as intended...and that's OK!

It's nice having a handy mute button and volume control. Only issue is learning how to adjust the levels of Chat vs Game volumes and I had to RTFM to figure it out. Otherwise, absolutely no complaints.

Once you get it its fine, but the new controllers have this built in so make sure you actually need it before you buy it. If your controller has a 3.5 jack on it you probably don't need it. The only thing with that is you have to adjust the volume through the Xbox software and it isn't as convenient.
