I like it for the ability to mute on the controller when I'm in a party. I actually bought this one for a friend because I liked mine so much.

I have to use it plugged in to the xbox one controller because my sony headset is bluetooth and xbox one only supports wi fi. This adapter does what it should with controls at fingertips.

Affordable gaming adapter for xbox one

Worked with Turtle Beach 7

So far it seams to work as advertised. I originally attempted to bypass this adapter using just cables but it only worked with the adapter. We now have sound running through the headset. We have not used the microphone yet with the Xbox one. The microphone settings do appear on the Xbox one.

Works with older turtle beach

I did return this item because I ended up buying a newer set of turtle beaches. The X11 still needed to be plugged into the console via a usb cable for power. To many power cables all over for me. Now my new setup is wireless.
