An unfortunate necessity with my older TB HP
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really got tired of having to use my Kinect for all my online chatting (mostly in games, of course). but, I didn't want to shell out another $200 for a new pair of headphones when my Turtle Beach (Ear Force XP SEVEN MLG Pro Circuit Programmable Surround Sound Console Headset) are still amazing. So, my only other option (and one that will keep my GF happy, since she was always yelling at me to shut up!) was to get the Microsoft - Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter. It really is a necessary evil. But, one that works very well. If you want to chat (and chat more quietly than yelling at your Kinect), then this is your only option (well, this or buy a new pair of headphones). And, at least, the headset adapter works flawlessly...

Since some games don't allow actual game volume changes in menus - you will want this item
