A must for headset - easy audio control

I'm sad I had to buy this.

After I purchased the xbox1, I discovered that the chat port on the new controller is mini-usb, not the old audio jack. This rendered the microphone on my Turtle Beach X12 headset useless for chat. I had to use the Kinect, which is terrible. I really do not feel like dropping another $150 (or more) on another set of headphones just so the microphone will work. Fortunately, Microsoft developed this little add on for the controller (released four months after launch). I am happy to have it, but I am not happy that I had to buy it.

But turns out my friend's (newer) console already included it - what about the rest of us?! Well guess that's the cost for being an early adopter. Sucks, but had to buy because it's totally needed.
