If you don't feel like spending your left arm on another headset for your XB One, I'd suggest just getting one of these. Although I kind of wish the designers for the console itself could find a way around needing a completely new design for the controller requiring a new generation of headsets.

These are great headset adapters for Xbox One controllers that do not have a 3.5 mm jack. You can control the mute button and volume up/down.

Neat that it controls game and chat volume. Did not help with my old turtle beaches for the 360. Game audio works but not the chat

This adapter works awesome with my legacy headset. Very easy to use and setup. All you need to do is a quick connect and download for the controller and your play with rich sound and bass.

I needed to replace a pricier brand that failed just after the warranty period. This one was a perfect fit and sound quality is identical at about half the price.

For a cheap price, I was able to convert my sons expensive gaming headphones to now work with Xbox one. Better then buying a new set of headphones at a few 100 dollars

This product is nice because I was able to use my Skullcandy headset I purchased for my 360 with my Xbox One. You can also use headphones or earbuds to listen to the audio from the xbox. It's functional and just required a controller update. Sound quality is great and the recent April update Microsoft released fixed some of the sound issues it was having in certain circumstances. Overall, I think something like this should have been included in the bundle, but it wasn't that expensive and preferred to just buy this than a whole new headset.

This is a great item. The first one that I bought the cord broke and I tried just buying the cord to go with it and could not get one. I had to buy another unit. This is my second one in 8 months. Maybe this one will last longer

I like the various options this device gives you to listen through your headphones, overall volume, separate variable volumes for game & chat. Sound is very clear.

It does what it is supposed to do. Includes a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter in the box for using older 360 style headsets. Microsoft is the king of selling console accessories. The new style of controllers do not need this gadget.

Our TV only has Digital Audio Out and the Turtle Beach headphones we use only have the red and white connectors. We picked this up and it works perfectly. Just plug in any set of headphones and all audio comes through. You can change the audio from "all" to just "chat".

This product is good if you have the proper headset to use it. It's not best buy its Microsoft. Before buying this product make sure it's going to work with the headset you have

Worked for making my wireless turtle beach x32 headset to be compatible with xbox one. Love being able to separately adjust game volume and chat volume.

At first when I used this it had some issues after controller update. So then after a complete shut down of the system, it worked flawlessly. I love this adapter because it lets me keep me old awesome headset from the 360.

I like the product and it was easy to set up. I like that it is compatible with my Astro 40 headset. I would recommend this to a friend

Works great with my turtle beach x12s. The only drawback is from my headset itself because it requires a/V Connection on back of TV.

The headset adaptor I purchased was an open box for $5 less than the new price even though it appears to be in perfect condition. And when I had trouble ordering it online the customer support lady took another $5 off for my trouble's.Talk about a great deal.

It's great for your headphones with a mic or without a mic. If you need to listen to your games or whatever without being a burden to others this is perfect. The buttons allow you to change chat and game volume so you can even it how you'd like. I love it.

I wanted to add a new headset to our original controllers which don't have the built-in minijack. This seemed like a good option, so I tried it out. Works like a charm! It doesn't make the controller unwieldy, and the buttons have a solid feel to them.
