This adapter works great, the buttons are easy to and more accessible than the headset ones are. It makes changing the volume or muting yourself easier. I would use it on a controller that had a port for a headset because of its ease of use with headsets, and so you don't have to take your hands off the controller to change volume, etc ehile playing games so there is no chance of messing up in a game.

When I bought the new Xbox one S at Best Buy I didn't notice that it didn't come with a headset, so I went back to Best Buy the next day and was looking through different headset options when an employee pointed out this adapter to me, not only does it give you lots of control over your in game audio and microphone setting but it allows you to use and headphones or headset you already have that use the standard 3.5mm headphone jack, this adapter was a great solution for me

Works as advertised. Sound occasionally goes in and out, not sure if it's because of the adapter or not. I'm currently using this with the Sony Pulse Elite headphones.

You don't need this with the updated Xbox one controllers. However, it makes things like volume mixing so much easier. I love it and wouldn't use my chat without it.

I have been wanting wireless headphones for the TV in the den. So that I can watch without disturbing others. The other wireless headphones are outrageous. This worked great with the headphones I already had.

Your able to use the same 3.5mm headset you would use with your cell phone for chatting. And you also hear game sound through it.

Cheaper than buying a new headset. Most headsets have separate voice and game volume so it would have been better and smaller if they exclude the same controls on the adapter.

Works good with no audio latency at all. Only complaint is the picture depicted an audio cable like a headset, thought it came with one. Make sure you read the box.

This product works as intended, but the PS4 controllers don't even require an adapter for headphones. Not sure why Xbox had to be extra complicated.

Although it is stupid to have to buy an adapter, it is much better than having to buy a whole new headset. Everything seems to work fine. Connection seems to be better than older style connection in regards to fitting.

This suits my needs to use my skull candy headset. Easy to use. Great product.

love it, its cheap, and gets the job done. yes, you can hear the game play through your headphones you plug in.

The product is fine. As for the store it really depends on who helps you. The first person was aloof and did not answer my question and the 2nd person was awesome.

This work great with the Xbox one controller. I can mute and adjust the volume on them.

I'm guessing it is working right. The manual basically tells you what the controls are. Not much else. Headset companies such as Turtle Beach make similar products.

The stereo headset adapter is fantastic, but the dinky breakout cable included to use older headsets goes bad very quickly.

Very useful..the room is quite now..he can just listen thru his beats headphone...easily attached to xbox one controller..

Bought this to use 3.5mm headphones with my controller. Unfortunately, found out after purchase that iPhone ear buds aren't compatible. Will attempt to update once I get a set that functions with it.
