I could not fully give it a five star because it has been to new to truly review the product, and it required some resets when we first started using it.

This adapter allows any pair of wired headphones to be compatible with Xbox One. I like how you can switch between game and chat audio, mute mic and control volume seamlessly.

works way better than the stock headset

I use mine with the marshall headphones with built in mic and its absolutely the best combo ive seen in a long time. The added benifit of late night tv watching using the headphones means you dont wake the neighbors or the wife in the middle of the night!

Nice addition for private audio

My only wish is that it was built in to the controllers from day one so I didn't have to buy this. I'd recommend considering doubling down and buying one of the new controllers that has it built in.

It works great, except for one slight flaw. The wire adapter from 2.5mm to 3.5mm is extremely flimsy. You might want to go to an audio/ video store an purchase a wire protector to prevent failure. Definitely an item you want a warranty on.
