    Product allowed me to use my Astro headsets that I used with older generation consoles on the X1. I just plugged the adapter into the controller and was prompted for an update and then you plug the cord into the bottom of the adapter and it's ready to go!

    It was great to use my former turtle beaches from my 360 when I got my one. They are used frequently and they stopped working after 8 months so this is my second purchase of this item.

    This is a must-have for online Xbox One owners. The adaptor lets you use most gaming headsets with the system without a problem. I don't think the sound balance was needed, but that's my main complaint.

    Bought my son Turtle Headphones for XBOX 1. After six months seeing these $300 headphones still in box I had to aske wht he wasn't using them. He said he needed this adapter. Pretty crazy as it's relatively an inexpensive part. He now is all set.
