    I only needed the small cord that comes with this adapter, but the cord alone is not available. Product works well but I wonder if that cord will fail again, causing me to have to purchase this entire thing again.

    Works great and allows you to plug in your headphones to older controllers that don't have the headphone jack. also acts as a mix-amp so you can balance your game and voice chat right on the controller.

    I find it interesting that it isn't until recently that Xbox One controllers are going to finally come with a regular 3.5mm jack. If you have one of the older controllers though, you can't go wrong with this adapter.

    This pic is incorrect, there are two more buttons that adjust game and voice levels. Simple hookup and out of the way. OEM, looks like it's part of the original controller.

    My son hated having to balance volume on games when fighting began he could not turn down faster enough and when people speak can't hear them. This and his new headset allow him to manage quickly

    I have found issues with the volume in the headset when it comes to the chat functions being overpowered by the game volume. Could just be the game I was playing with NBA 2K15. Adapter works like it should though.

    My son loves his XBox One and this little adapter allows him to control his over the ear gaming headset, w. speaker (volume, mute) controls are on the adapter and easily accessible while playing.

    I have had nothing but trouble with this adapter. Didn't want to spend another $299 for new astro 50's. I would recommend doing it anyway not worth the headache.

    Plugged it in and haven't had a problem and I use it often. Have had it for a month or two and don't have any issues with mic not working or audio not working.
