Necessary accessory for xbox
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you don't want to use Microsoft's gaming headset or the virtually useless headset that comes with xbox, this accessory is a necessity. I was able to plug in the Turtle Beach headset that I used with xbox 360. If you don't get good sound at first, go into your game audio settings and make sure it's set to 'headphones'. The buttons on the left balance the audio between game sounds and chat. This is unclear in the instruction book, and takes a little getting used to, but it's very handy to have this feature literally right at your fingertips.
