Does the trick for a reasonable price

This device does eat trick and gives me audio in and audio out to speak and hear with adjustable controls. Works perfect with my Turtle Beach Headset without the need for buying another $80+ headset.

Except Microsoft wanted to separate it and make us pay for it. The Xbox One should have came with this initially. Also, careful losing or damaging the supplied 2.5-3.5mm jack converter, as it is the only one that will work with the adapter.

Simple and Works

I like how you can adjust the game sound and chat sound to your likings. What I really like is that I can be immersed into the game because of my headset and still have my TV on mute. I highly recommend this adapter if you have the 1st gen Xbox one.
