Bad quality outbound sound

Apparently, the voice output sounds horrible using this type of microphone, which renders this product useless, especially when you receive one with a purchase of a good quality headset.

Lots of 360 gamers will already have a gaming headset from the previous gen, but won't be able to use it with their Xbox One. This solves the problem, even if it forces a wireless headset to be tethered to the controller.
