Functions well, takes AA batteries and I believe a rechargable battery pack could be purchased if wanted. Great product

Improved Controller

At first, the controller seemed too slick but after playing with the new controller, it is far more ergonomic than the Xbox 360 controller.

All you need!

All the remotes are the same (except elite) so buy the one on sale! So far the batteries seem to last longer than I thought they would!

Does Exactly What It's Supposed To.

The controller does exactly what you think it would do. It connected to my One easily and has worked flawlessly.

I mean it's a controller for the console made by the company that makes the console. That's about all there is to it really.

Works as advertised

It's an upgraded model from the originals. It did need to be connected via USB cable to have the firmware upgraded, but works just fine.

Great controller, basic and utilitarian

No frills and affordable, this controller uses AA batteries and is exactly like the one sold with the console. Works great. No complaints.

Better than before
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The new updated controller feels better to me,and I like how the dpad and the shoulder buttons don't have that loud click any more. The headphone jack that's built into the controller is nice too. The only thing is that the only way to change the volume and sensitivity of the mic is by double tapping the guide button and going all the way down to the settings. Then the volume sliders will be there. So it's a little inconvenient to do this while playing multiplayer.
