This is the second plug n play controller I've purchased. When I don't have it plugged in it loses connection to the xbox at least twice every minute or so which makes for very frustrating gaming. So I decided to take the battery pack out and just use it like a wired controller which worked fine for about 2 weeks. But then the mini USB started to lose connection as well and would only work in certain positions. I'm pretty sure this is a problem on Microsoft's end and not best buys fault. I would like to see a better plug n play kit similar to the xbox 360 or just a wireless controller that actually stays connected.

I'm giving 3 stars but I don't know if give it 2 or 1 because I just play 2 hours every 3 or 4 days and the battery always is low and I need to be playing with the controller connected it's just one month old

Charge cable terrible. Broke after only one week of use. Controller battery does not hold a charge. Needs to be plugged in constantly.

Bought this to replace a failing controller on hits xbox one. For such prominent game controllers they lack a certain amount of resiliency to normal wear and tear.

My son uses this, and hasn't had any issues with it. Works like the original, as far as we can tell. Seems overpriced though.

When buying a second controller for the xbox one, this is the purchase you should make. Lose the hassle of replacing batteries, recharge or not with the plug & play kit. All you have to do to recharge it is connecting it to the charging wire connected to your xbox one or charging adapter. Plus its cheaper buying packaged together then buying it separately.

Took this back the first time because I couldn't get the light to go on for the charger to work. Exchanged it for another one. This one worked for the first 3 charges but very touchy. Now I can't get it to light again. Works fine with batteries and plugged in but that isn't why I bought it. I wanted chargeable batteries.

This remote is ok but to be honest I think all Xbox one remotes are sucking

The controllers do not withstand the mechanics of a serious gamer...

This worked great for a little while but now I have a problem with it actually connecting to the controller. When the batteries do charge fully they last a long time.

Did you know that unless you've bought Geek Squad protection, that Best Buy won't replace Xbox One controllers after 15 days of purchase? Worse yet, BestBuy sent me to Microsoft. After 1 hour on their customer service chat, they are not honoring their 90-day warranty. I'm very dissatisfied with the product, with BestBuy, with Microsoft, and with a worthless 90-day manufacturer's warranty.

Xbox one is so garbage to the 360. Controllers break easily and also the crappie wired head set. I've had to replace 3 controllers in 2 years.

who cares, why care and what does it all mean to be prisoners of the web services subject to meanial responses that are fifty characters or more

5th controller I buy in a year, if it wasn't for my son I wouldn't buy anymore !!

Wireless controller is the way to go, pair play and charger kit

This controller feels great in hand compared to the Xbox 360 controller. The controls are much more responsive, the triggers are smoother and it's just all around awesome. The charge kit is a great feature and now I won't have to constantly replace AA batteries in my controller. Get this play and charge kit for an optimal Xbox One controller experience!

My son wanted a second controller for his friends. This one fits the bill! The wireless feature works well and gives the controller more freedom in mobility. We liked that the charger was included with this version.

It would be so much easier if the controllers automatically came with the play and charge kit instead of buying them separately. Glad I picked this option up instead after a discount.

Although Microsoft should include a rechargeable battery in the controller, the play and charge kit is a great alternative to the disposable batteries. The cord is long enough to play with in small rooms and it even has an indicator light. I like the fact that it is plug and play with Windows and I can play many games with it.
