Most powerful console ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xbox rules. Microsoft really hit it out of the park with this one. Graphics are so much better than on a standard Xbox that it is like comparing the one to the 360. With backward compatibility you can play those old titles you've been wanting to get out of the way on this machine as well.

Excellent, but not for everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend this product for anyone who is in the market for the very best console gaming system and is willing to pay the premium for the best. Is it overkill? Maybe, but after purchasing an LG OLED tv, and paying extravagantly for that, my regular xbox one did not feel up to par. The graphics and colors are incredible, taking full advantage of my TV's 4k HDR capabilities and delivering jaw dropping deep levels of black. It's smaller than my original xbox one, which was pleasantly surprising as well.

Good lacks games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an avid game player, and I have found this purchase to meet my needs quite well. I would recommend having a 4K HRD 10 TV to maximize the experience. This is an extremely powerful console, but does lack a variety of games at the moment, but I am sure this will change as time goes on,

Beautiful console, much has changed over 2 years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially sold my Xbox One. Bad graphics; subpar quality; bulky; ran hot. This is a whole nother ballgame. Not only does the HDR look fantastic, 4k HDR Blu-Ray is a real treat, it’s great for media consumption, runs cool for a hot or small bedroom, whisper quiet, oh... and a lot of these games are near 4k at 2060 something pixels and not boxed. Such a sharp image. Random apps like YouTube downloaders; to Kodi; make this console kind of a big deal. Supports Dolby atoms; and game pass is honestly a lot better than expected and threw me into quite a few good games with the 1$ month deal on Black Friday.

Performs as promised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned the XB1X for just a couple weeks and I'm lovin it!!! I was a PC gamer who entered console gaming with the Sega Genesis. From there I bought a PS1, PS2, and then jumped ship when SONY ditched backward compatibility. I bought a 360 and then a One AFTER backward compatibility came onboard and now I've purchased the X. FYI - I don't hate Sony—only Sony Fanboys :) Just saying if there's no backward compatibility then I'll buy whatever console looks good at the time. Keep backward compatibility and I'm a loyal customer even if the "other" console looks better. Reason is I still play Freelancer on my PC! I don't throw out old games that are good. I archive them and play them over and over. I'm still annoyed about not being able to play my old PS2 games since my PS2 died. So I only buy consoles with true backward compatibility and not Sony's rent old games you already own system. DON'T listen to Microsoft haters! The X is an amazing console and all those negative folks need to get over the fact that Microsoft put out an amazing product and actually cares about their fan base with features like FREE backward compatibility. Also, if you think the X is overpriced and the PS4 Pro is a good value you need to reevaluate. The price difference is $100. That's it. $399 for the Pro and $499 for the X. Isn't that worth NATIVE 4K (yes, the X does native 4K despite the lies PS4 fans spread), an additional 4 GB (12 GB total) of DDR5 memory at 108 GB/S faster than the Pro, 1.8 more teraflops than the Pro, faster CPU, AND a physical UHD player? All that for just $100 more and almost every review I read says the X is overpriced. The difference in hardware between the two is worth far more than $100 (Cheap UHD player alone is around $140) so if the X is overpriced then the Pro is over-priced too. Can't have it both ways folks! Let's keep a level playing field and not just say whatever we want to paint one console in a better light over the other. I also hear the X has an underpowered CPU. I never hear that about the PS4 Pro and the X has a more powerful CPU than the Pro. Seems like the gaming media LOVES anything PS does and questions anything Xbox does even if Xbox gets a win over PS. Hmm. Media bias??? I think so! BIG TIME. So throw out all the reviews, even mine, and go play the two in a store display (while we still have physical stores) and decide for yourself. Boils down to what YOU value most in gaming and not anything anyone else says or feels. What games do YOU like? What features do YOU like? Are YOU capable of streaming 4K movies where you live or would you rather buy physical media? Remember, you can stream 4K media with the XB1X too. The UHD optical drive just gives you OPTIONS that the PS4 Pro does not and, as a gamer, OPTIONS are extremely important to me. And IF you're type of the person who MUST have the "best" console or your feelings get hurt, then, right now it's the XB1X. Plain and simple. When the PS5 comes out the best console will be the PS5. And so forth and so on until consoles become self-aware and merge together to form one super-console to take over the world.

Best xbox ever made
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have to say I'm blown away with the performance this console delivers. 4k on this when gaming is nothing less than breathtaking. I didn't expect it to be this good I wasn't even going to buy 1 until next year. Anyway I just took a chance after hearing good things about the XBox One X. I couldn't even go to sleep I kept downloading games and playing different games that has been enhanced for 4K HDR all night. Gears of War on the campaign and online just looks stellar that's what won me over. And if you have a headset try the dobly Atmos app makes everything sound incredible to match the visuals. Great job Microsoft made me a fan again.

Much Better Than Before...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pretty excited upon hearing about the Xbox One X. For the past few years I've had vision problems in one eye, so my vision has become slightly blurred, and I was looking forward to a console that would provide the clearest possible image, and the X delivers. On its own, with just the regular HD capabilities it looks fine and games run a little smoother and offer visual acuity with the X Enchancments. The X started to shine when I got my 4k Benq monitor, and I must say I'm quite satisfied, and will never turn back. The only downside to the X is not enough developers are utilizing its full potential.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's worth the upgrade if you have a 4K TV. If you don't, keep the xbox you have or buy the Xbox S. If you plan on buying a 4K TV then buy this console you won't be disappointed.

Upgrade your One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I traded in my Day 1 Xbox One for $45 to upgrade to the One X. And it was well worth the trade it. The 4K makes everything worth it. And my limited selection of 4K Blue Ray (disc) looks great on this. Plus you can stream any 4K content on it. Overall this is a great system to buy.

My Boyfriend LOVED opening this gift on Christmas!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Xbox One X for my Boyfriend for Christmas and it was just the right "size and color". He absolutely loves the new console which replaced his 360. The graphics are super realistic even without a 4K TV but the new TV is 100% the next purchase we'll be making! Enjoy!

Very Powerful Console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with loading times, graphics quality improvement is awesome over my original Xbox one.. Very happy with the start up sound. The smoothness of game-play makes you feel like you are playing football with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Movie watching is such an improvement.

Good Videogame + 4K UHD Combo + has 2 HDMI
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was iffy at 1st because of the premium to get it. I'm glad I purchased it. I have my Motorola DVR box hooked up to it. The HDMI that comes with it is long enough to have a hanging tv and still have it on the 2nd shelf of your tv stand. It was compatible with " Logitech Harmony 665" to watch tv through "One Guide." I use an OLED with it. Alien Covenant in UHD looked great. I played Elder Scrolls Oblivion. It does look good. 6+GB update needed. I don't personally think it makes much noise if that is a concern. I forget its on sometimes. I think you will be impressed & would be a wonderful holiday gift. I still very much like the PS4 Pro though. Its comparing apples and oranges. I couldn't say which I like better. I own both.

Excellent graphics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent graphics and beautiful game play, but don't forget to modify your tv settings otherwise 4k looks worse and extremely grainy with 4k movies. Movie and game viewing settings make huge viewing differences.
