Since then I have only heard him complain about his new console stating it freezes up mid game at least once a day. It's very frustrating when his older model never did that. He has tested it on different games and even used our neighbors WIFI to test out a new connection. Overall I think my boyfriend wishes he would have kept his old xbox.

At first I thought it could be a wifi/internet speed issue(even though I have speeds of 12 Ping 175mbps Down/12mbps Up) but even when I switched to ethernet/wired connection it still continued. I realized it would do it during start up as well, and progressively get worse, and now it won't even stay on. The Xbox will turn on at a cripplingly slow speed and then restart as soon as the home menu pops up. I'm not sure what is causing it as it has never been dropped/moved since the day I got it. I believe it to be either hard drive failure or power failure, I'm not sure.
