I am constantly reminded of the improvements (graphics and load times are the most obvious). Although I love it, I look forward to hers becoming obsolete so, I can hand this one down and get the newest one.

The load times are substantially faster than the older units and if that was the only improvement, would be worth it. You can significantly see the increase in raw processing power. Even while still using a 1080P projector, the One X still improves the video quality and details in games. The only downside on the One X is the limitation to a 1TB hard drive size. I am coming from a One S Gears of War special edition that had a 3TB hard drive. I had to use an external USB3 drive to make up for the smaller internal drive size.

All in all its a nice system that is already dated. That being said I do not play often and I wanted a console that played blu rays....at the time of purchase I did not have great internet due to lack of options in my area so online gaming was not enjoyable....or possible. I haven't seen the newer xbox (whatever its called) in person but I hear its pretty nice if you have the money. All in all I got my moneys worth out of this thing and hope to use it for a few more years until I make another impulse purchase on something else. ...Oh.... My best complaint is the game downloads and updates!!! I feel like every time I turn this thing on there are more updates needed in order to play. HATE that but this is also coming from the guy who doesn't have a very fast DL speed.
