It can connect to Kinect scanner to watch you exercise and let you know how well you are doing the exercises. Through upwards compatibility, it can play many games that you already own for the Xbox 360 without your having to repurchase them. My only complaint is that Microsoft is providing primarily violent games for it. I wish there were more non-violent games available. Just because a person is an adult, doesn't mean they are into violence.

Halo 5 in 4k @60hz looks glorious! I did have a small issue with my controller disconnecting and found it that it was caused by placing my 2tb seagate drive on top of the console on the bottom left corner. This interferes with the transceiver and will cause intermittent disconnects. An apple watch will also do the same. I moved the hard drive to the side and remove my apple watch while playing and it's worked fine ever since.
