Hardware Specs Great For What though?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly I think this system is better then the PS4 Pro for hardware specs and functionality. But Microsoft isn't backing up their game library. So you have all this power for just backwards compatible 360 games? I don't think this is a smart upgrade if you already have a One.

TERRIBLE 1/2 STAR
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought 2.brought the console on launch project scorpion edition.Yesterday the console had a black screen and I hooked my ps4 pro up.Worked fine.Couple hours later didn't even turn on wth Microsoft. The console constantly looses connection to servers.I got 175/25 speed highest internet. My original Xbox never did this.I lag so much its just ridiculous. It takes 2 weeks for Microsoft to fix it.I have a ps4 pro also and never ever ever had this problem. When Microsoft send this Thang back it's getting sold immediately!!!Save your money and get the ps4 Xbox is trash..

X Gonna give it to ya!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a big multiplatform gamer, I have all the systems even a gaming PC and I will say that I'm really happy with the Xbox One X. Not only with the beastly power that it offers but the myriad of improvements that they've made to the software and platform. First, the dashboard is much quicker and responsive compared to prior iterations and they've done a ton of improvements to how quickly you can maneuver around the menu to find what you're looking for. I've also noticed that there's a general improvement in stability. Impressed with what they've done with it. Now as far a the hardware, It really takes seeing it in action to really appreciate what this powerhouse can do. You want to make sure you have a good 4K HDR to appreciate the performance and graphical improvements but even on regular displays, you can still have an upgraded experience with supersampling resolution and upgrade textures and effects. If you want to see examples, look up the Digital Foundry comparisons on YouTube just to see the jump in quality. In my opinion, it probably offers the definitive experience for certain games like Assassin's Creed Origins, Wolfenstein 2, Forza 7 at a more accessible price. Another thing to add is Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos sound standards. Whiles most people love gaphics, audio is also an important part of the experience. Whether through a home theater or headphones, it take audio immersion to a whole new level. It adds elevation to the equation so it really gives a new level of immersion. I got the Project Scorpio edition and I love it. It really pays neat homage to Xbox history and makes the console stand out with the finish like it should. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is an Xbox fan and anyone who loves games. Great job Microsoft!

Does not play games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My Xbox one x didn't even last a day. Was able to download one game. After that, will not play or download any other games. Even the one I downloaded. I'm done with Xbox. Gonna return as soon as possible.

Microsoft Makes Great Gear Now like XBOX 1 X
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everyone Has Heard The Gaming Is As Good As It Gets. Forza 7 is worth the price alone. That can be played for a year every day and it will just get better because you will get better. When you finally finish first in a race WARNING YOU WILL BE ADDICTED. Not many saying how easy it is to make XBOX 1 X your entertainment console Plug 1 cable in from Cable & 1 cable to TV. Can't be any easier. 4 K's are cheap now. The XBOX 1 X improves ANY TV even non 4k. You can add NFL & NBA Tickets via XBOX and then it is as easy as watching TV. Just click the app and select your game. Can it get any easier? Your Movies, Music, Twitter, FB & Edge Internet Browser are right there all in 1 place and it is the Ultimate Living Room Experience. Why would you not want to use an Internet Browser on a large 65 incher. You can hook a wireless Keyboard in the USB. The Gaming and Pure Entertainment are so Good on this device that I can honestly say that it is almost impossible that anyone would not love this device. It takes away the lag time with streaming or waiting on the kinds of things you had to in the old days. This device has so much power and the machine provides such unbelievably good pictures you would have to fight me to take mine back. Microsoft makes great, sleek gear now. I do not know what happened but Man did they ever figure out how to make some great Hardware not just Great Software. Run to get this device before they are sold out for the Holidays. This thing is going to be the Hot Holiday Product.

Great when it works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I pre ordered this version and received it in november. I had to send it back to microsoft because of hardware issues. Got a replacement and had to send it back three days later because of hardware issues. Got ANOTHER replacement and now about two weeks later, this one is starting to freeze games and shut down by itself right after. I dont know what to do anymore lol. When it works, it works great and games look crisp and load/render faster than normal. But ive had too many headaches with the systems failing on me.

An excellent console
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This console is awesome. Plays everything great, enhanced or not and is super stylish and quiet. You will get better FPS and graphics with this console. It's the most power console in the world and only a high-end PC can compete with it. If you have the cash I suggest you buy it, Scorpio or regular edition will do. You won't regret it! Trust me.

Loving the Look and Performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went from my Day One XB1 to this and all the perks it comes. Games look different, many things respond quicker and it makes less noise. Finally I can stand the console up and have it take up less space.

Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Wish I would of actually had it on launch day but got it the day after, still no idea what happened. Anyway, the 4K looks good but I believe the HDR is what makes games really stand out. I haven't tried a 4K HDR Blu-Ray yet but I will soon right after my TV is ISF calibrated.

Love my new Xbox One X
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Another short, honest opinion: If you have a Xbox One S you probably do not need to upgrade unless you have disposable money. The unit is dead silent while operating and has never had any issues. I purchased 2 of them and they are both working like a champ...with that said, my co-worker purchased one, placed it in an enclosed cabinet with restricted ventilation and it went into thermal shutdown after 4 hours of playing. As with any piece of electronics cooling is important so I would definitely place it somewhere that it will not be obstructed. For me, I love it, for some you probably don't need to upgrade yet. The system looks sleek, runs perfect and if you have the cash to spend do it...if you don't, and you have an S, you will be just fine for the foreseeable future.

Awesome console, terrible UI
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox One X is pretty dang good at playing games. I have been playing Assassin's Creed Origins in 4K and the game looks amazing. If you have the money, and a 4K TV, by all means take the plunge. My main complaint is the UI. It harkens to the dark times of Windows 8's Metro UI. Put simply, the UI is bad. Back in the days of the PS3 vs the XB360, Microsoft had pretty decent UIs. One did not need to perform several actions to get to anything in particular. However, now it seems like a chore to get to the console settings, my friends list, notifications, etc. At least 3 or 4 actions and various menu navigation. Dealing with the Xbox One X's UI, I just think of how simplistic the 360's UI and the PS4's UIs were/are. There are also times when navigating the UI where there will be a very small hiccup. It happens rarely, but when it does, its annoying.
