I was hesitant at first and considered buying the PS5. However, it was more expensive and I didnt really see a lot of new exclusives that I cared for except for Spiderman 2. I looked at the xbox and the game pass library, Halo, and alot of older titles like portal and classic starwars games, so I decided to go to xbox for the first time as a life long playstation player…and wow, theres a lot here that I honestly think makes xbox an appealing option. The biggest thing I noticed from the PS4 to the series S is how much faster everything is. It boots up within seconds, theres no interface lag, and its so smooth! The menus pop up pretty much instantly and I can even jump between games with ease thanks to the quick resume feature. The resolution it fine, but I care more for framerate and play casually anyway, and being able to play GTA and Elden ring at 60 FPS looks awsome! Would highly recommend if you want a simple, fast game pass machine. The only downside is the storage fills up fast, so you’ll definitely need their ssd game card, which is pricey. Pretty much the only real downside, which I believe brings it at about $100 less than the PS5 factoring in buying an M.2 ssd for the PS5.

Great console! Very solid performance compared to recent pc and console specs plus it is at a very affordable price. The series S is very light and portable while holding up to “next gen” standards being able to play all recent AAA titles at decent specs. I’ve had it for almost a year now putting through lots of wear and tear and it’s proven to be quite durable.

Much better than we expected. The new design is easily accessible for my 9-year old to navigate. Love that it’s disc free and holds 1TB of storage. My grandson loves to play a variety of games so the more storage was a huge plus. The graphics are great and easy to configure to compensate for various gameplay. We switched from PS to Xbox this year and have loved every part of it. Also love that the parental controls are much more specific and can be adjusted in the phone app. He loves it so far and so do I!

Xbox has great graphics plays smooth. Doesn't take up a lot of space either.

Gamepass with this system is a go!!! I purchased this xbox to get back into single player gaming . Digital games work flawlessly. My only complaint was the storage at first. Some games take up a whole lot of space but I purchased some more memory and my complaining stopped!!! all is well!!! This system is definitely better than expected. Its easy to travel with and move around the house to use on different tv's.

This wasn’t the Xbox that I was wondering, unfortunately Best Buy had this one only in stock, but it turned out to be a miracle in disguise because once I started using it, I realized I needed more space for my games than I thought I would need and I end up falling in love with it is so simple. The process is so simple. I have no difficulties with this..

When I first was going to buy this console I was hesitant because of how much it cost, after I got it and I used it to play my games it ran pretty smoothly and it did not heat up at all, also it has a bunch of storage for such little console, the Best Buy team made sure that my console arrived safe and not damaged.

Great for the price. The color and upgraded memory makes it a good choice between the S and X.

What a great system .....i wanted to get a new Gen and i couldnt decide between the X or S .....then i seen this one and it has best of both options out of the box its a next gen and it has 1TB storage..... and the controller was a camo design which i was surprised to see.... was expecting a plain black one .....its compact enough to fit almost anywhere and you can take it on the go if you travel with ease

The new Xbox Series S 1 TB has been great! It is much better than our old Xbox and got a better rating than the newer Xbox. It is a great price for the money. We do not need the 1TB but good to have in case things change in the future. It works much better with our new gaming monitor. Faster frames per second. My son is beyond happy with his Christmas money purchase.

I will start off by saying I have never owned an Xbox and have always had a playstation, But this console has surprisingly exceeded my expectations. The console runs a nice 120fps on most games and enhances graphics in tons of older games that I’ve wanted to go back and play. The only downside i will say the console has is on certain games with 4K enabled it will cause the game to crash.

I use to play on the Xbox series x. I sold my series x because I didn’t have time to play after having a newborn. 1 1/2 years later I decided to buy the Xbox series s 1tb and it feels no different from where I left off. I also have to constantly move the Xbox from room to room and it is small enough that it does not require much room nor effort to move around. 11/10 recommend for travel or casual gaming at home.
