Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the Xbox Series S's storage, compact size, graphics, price, performance, color, size, easy setup, and being disc-free and digital. They appreciate the console's ample internal storage, small form factor, impressive graphics, affordability, powerful performance, attractive color options, compact size, simple setup process, and the convenience of not requiring physical discs or a digital subscription. On the downside, customers are negative about the lack of a disc drive, the controller's battery life, and compatibility issues with older controllers. Some customers feel that the lack of a disc drive limits their gaming options, while others would prefer a controller with a longer battery life and compatibility with their existing controllers.

A Game-Changer for Digital-First Gamers: Xbox Seri
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From the moment I unboxed the sleek, black Xbox Series S, I knew I was in for a treat. Microsoft has truly outdone itself with this all-digital, disc-free console, catering to a generation that prefers the convenience of digital downloads over traditional physical discs. Here's why the Xbox Series S is not just a console but a revolution in my gaming experience. Design and Setup The compact design of the Series S is a breath of fresh air. Its minimalist, matte black finish fits perfectly in my entertainment center, complementing my setup rather than overpowering it. Setting up was a breeze; I navigated the user-friendly interface within minutes, ready to dive into my digital library. Performance and Gaming Experience But it's not just the aesthetics that impressed me. The performance of the Xbox Series S is nothing short of spectacular. Games load in the blink of an eye, thanks to the custom SSD at the console's heart. The seamless transitions and quick resume feature mean I can switch between titles effortlessly, keeping me in action without the dreaded load times. The digital-only aspect might deter some, but it's a game-changer for me. The 1TB storage ensures I have plenty of space for my growing library of games, and the convenience of downloading games directly to the console cannot be overstated. Plus, with Xbox Game Pass, I can access many titles at my fingertips, from blockbuster hits to indie gems. Graphics and Sound The Xbox Series S might be the smaller sibling in the Series line-up, but it packs a punch in the graphics department. Games look stunning, with crisp, vibrant visuals that bring virtual worlds to life. While it targets 1440p resolution rather than complete 4K, I'm consistently impressed by how good everything looks on my 1080p TV. The sound is equally impressive, with spatial audio that immerses me in the gaming experience, whether exploring distant galaxies or sprinting through a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Value and Ecosystem Perhaps the Xbox Series S's most compelling aspect is its value. It's an affordable entry point into next-gen gaming without sacrificing performance or features. With its cross-compatibility between consoles and PC, Xbox Live, and Game Pass, the Xbox ecosystem makes it an unbeatable deal. I feel truly integrated into a community of gamers with endless possibilities for multiplayer adventures and discoveries. Final Thoughts The Xbox Series S has redefined my gaming experience. It's not just a console; it's a gateway to a world of digital entertainment that prioritizes convenience, performance, and value. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the scene, the Xbox Series S is a brilliant choice that promises to bring joy and excitement into your home. It has undoubtedly won a permanent spot in my living room, and I can't wait to see where this digital gaming journey takes me next.

Q: QuestionMy 8yr old daughter wants this for Xmas! Is it games for her to play, like Roblux?
Asked by Sqeekie.
- A:Answer Yea roblox fortnite hello neighbor and plenty of others for her to enjoy
Answered by JasonC
Q: QuestionClaims 4K, but it is not true. Capped at 1440p, just like the white version.
Asked by JGuy22.
- A:Answer The specs are identical to the white Series S - except for the upgraded 1TB of storage space. Like the original Series S, games are played at 1080p or 1440p, depending on the game and display. The Series S supports 4K video streaming, which might be why Best Buy has 4K resolution in the description. It is a bit misleading since games can't be displayed in native 4K resolution on the Xbox Series S.

Q: QuestionDoes this console have the same power as the series x just without the disc tray?
Asked by Ramray65.
- A:Answer No. This console has the same specs as the current Xbox Series S console, except this console features a 1TB SSD (compared to the 512GB) and a matte-black finish. This is still an Xbox Series S.
Answered by gamerwizk1d
Q: QuestionIs a controller included with this? Also, are wires included with this?
Asked by Controller.
- A:Answer Yep 1 controller 1 hdmi cord and 1 power cord
Answered by JasonC
Q: Questionsince there is a SSD, do you need a memory card?
Asked by JPuh61.
- A:Answer You don't "need" it. 1 tb can hold a decent amount of games. It fully depends on how many games you play and the size of those games. If you feel you need more than 1tb then you could get a memory card, but again you don't "need" it.
